Gimmick/Bio: Daniel Cross is, for lack of a better term, an a*****e. He has a big mouth, and the ring skill to back it up. Cross employs Machiavellian tactics in his matches; that is, the end justifies the means. And that end, for Cross, is usually a World Heavyweight Championship.

Cross began his career in WWF in the mid-90s, participating in SmackDown!'s tournament to crown its first World Heavyweight Champion. He defeated Figgins in the first round, and in the process, debuted his now world-famous finishing maneuver, the CKO. He went on to defeat Mad Dog McLendon and Tommy Dreamer with the same move, earning him his first world title after just three matches with the promotion.

He then moved on to BWL/GWF, where he won the BWL Middlewieght Championship, GWF Intercontinental Championship, and GWF Invasion Championship. He was recently involved in a match to crown the new Intercontinental Champion at GWF World Bout 2007, but disqualified himself by assaulting the champion, Hellfire, with a baseball bat. In an interview with the media later that night, he claimed that "the IC title is for pussies. I'm not here to hold some midcard confidence-booster strap; I'm shooting straight for the top."

His indy career includes stops at the now-defunct AZW, CZW, and WCF before moving on to RWA, EEW, and NXC. He has taken a systematic destruction approach to facing the rosters of those promotions, even tearing Christian Daiami apart with a CKO in six seconds, his fastest victory to date.

Turn Me On Mr. Deadman hits as the arena lights go dark, and Daniel Cross walks out onto the entrance ramp to a loud chorus of boos from the crowd. He slaps a few fans in the face and flips off others walking down to the ring and does the CKO pose when he's halfway there, and the arena lights go back on just as a shooting star-style burst of pyro hits the stage. Cross walks confidently the rest of the way to the ring, which he then enters.
