On the eastern lawn of the DarkSeas Harbor Inn and Tavern grounds, lies an open grassy area with various training dummies, equipment, and various other training errata. It is here that the might Esper Ksi will train those willing to be trained in how to unlock their true potential. If you want him to train you, just ask and he will likely help you out.

Ksi considers Red’s question as he watches her punch the dummy.
Well, technically, I’ve always been an Esper. However, I didn’t awaken until a few years ago, if that’s what you mean. As for your speed, you’re very fast. However, speed is a relative subject. If you’re asking me if you’re fast enough to planes-walk, well that’s hard to say at this time. Planes-walking doesn’t really have anything to do with being fast and strong. It could very well be that a man far slower than you could planes-walk. I won’t truly be able to tell if you’re ready to cross dimensions, until I’ve fully assessed all of your capabilities. It’s more of an average of your total power. Of course, I could simply just lay my hands on you, and I would instantly know your true power. Unless of course you were stronger than me, and didn’t want me to know. However, I can already sense that neither is the case. Besides, what would be the fun in that?
For a moment, he pauses, and seems to be thinking of something, as he looks off towards the sea. Looking back finally, he continues.
I only have one more test for you. I’d like to have a spar, if that’s okay with you.

As Red gets ready once more the near silence begins to get to her and so she decides to break it with a little questioning.So how long have you been an Esper? As the dummy flashes up once more her hands fly out in rapid subsession as the counter goes wild before stopping once more at 2000 exactly, the number nearly tripling from last time. Smiling in near satisfaction she looks up at KsiSo what do you think? Am I still to slow? What do you mean you've only been awake for a few years? And sure, a spar will be fine, and what were you just looking at? The questions just kind of flew from her mouth as she was now becoming nervous about her spar. The last spare she had been in was for her life, and she had narrowly escaped at that. At least this time she wouldn't be fighting for her life...she hoped.

I mean my powers, they’ve only been fully awakened for about three or four years. That’s when I was enlightened, and took up my role in the flow of destiny.
With a chuckle, Ksi turns and starts to walk away.
Oh, I wasn’t really looking at anything, just thinking about what we should do next.
He goes about five yards off, and then turns back to face Red. She finds that he has a smile on his face, as he actually looks a little excited about the spar.
Alright then, come at me whenever you’re ready.

Ksi speaks to Synge telepathically as he waits for Red to lead off.
Hey, thanks for the hard work. You can take a break now. That’s the lesson for today. Just remember to stretch and run again later tonight. For now, why don’t you just hang out here, I want you to watch this spar, it could be useful for your training.

Me..come at you? gonk (sorry couldn't explain it so had to show it..xD)
They'd never get started that way she thought. It was one thing to defend one life against an attacker, then to be the attacker oneself. And if Ksi had come after her it would have been easy to visualize him as the former, but she didn't know if she could do this. Sighing she slowly inched forward trying not to make any sudden moves just in case Ksi changed his mind...
Goddess all mighty why did she agree to this spar, she'd just end up humiliated, but she had to if she ever wanted to leave this wreaked world. So she finally started into a slow run before aiming a low kick at Ksi's ribs, but didn't really put much effort into it.

*Synge had been practicing for a while now and was tiring out, and just as she was about to give up she heard Ksi speaking to her. She was definitely a little confused at first, as he was speaking to her inside her head, but she soon caught on and simply nodded towards him with a tired smile. Taking a seat in the grass she started to relax, and to watch. Looking at his sparring partner she thought that she was lucky she didn't have to do this, she would probably fall all over herself!*

Ksi stands there, completely still, as Red throws the kick at him. His arms are down, so it strikes him in the arm, but he seems unfazed by the effortless kick. He looks a bit sad for a moment, but then he speaks.
If you don’t want to do this, it’s okay. I’d rather have fun with it, and really make a good spar of it. However, if you don’t feel you can do that, then you should just say so. It’s pointless if you don’t bare your fighting spirit. Simply going through the motions is more disappointing then if you were to simply give up. I can feel your emotions, and right now all I feel is doubt and nervousness. Whether you’re stronger or more skilled than me is irrelevant. If you didn’t need my help you wouldn’t be here, this much is obvious enough. So why worry about how you appear to others, instead of achieving your goals? I’m not trying to lecture you, but I don’t want to spar with someone who isn’t into it. If you simply want to leave this place, I can send you anywhere you want to go. However, if you want to learn how to transfer through the dimensional boundaries for yourself, then you’ll have to fight me seriously. It’s your choice, don’t worry about what others think. This is one of the key mentalities to being an Esper, so you’ll have to forgive me if I go on about it. Anyway, either is fine with me. I can send you anywhere you may want to go, but once there, it may be hard to contact me. My offer to train you is still on the table as well, but as I’ve said, if you’re serious about it, then I expect you to give me 100%. I hope you understand.
His expression seems earnest.

As Ksi continues to talk, a little bit of that fighting spirit, something it seemed her father always had came back to her. She didn't just want Ksi to send her any old place, she wanted to be able to do it herself. No, she would be able to do it herself.
No, I am going to be able to do this. I just forgot myself for a moment. I'm a little tired of people doing everything for me, its about time I do something on my own. Thank you for reminding me.
Getting back into a fighting stance, she breathed deeply as the air around her rippled, yet nothing else seemed to change. Yet if someone were to look into her eyes they would see vertical pupils which were all to reptilian. They sparkled as she blinked, and grined, something else coming over her. This was a hunt she thought, and she always liked to hunt, it was actually something she was good at. So still smiling she locked eyes with Ksi.
I'm ready now Ksi...
This was all the warning she gave before charging in on him her hands flying out as she went to strike him across the jaw, but she quickly changed the projectury of her body and spun around him to elbow him in the back forcefully. If she made comtact the force would send him flying forward for several feet.

Ksi smirks with excitement as she comes at him. When she tries to elbow him in the back, he shifts to the right just enough to swing his right hand back. Catching the elbow with his hand, He follows through, continuing to spin towards her as his cloak flares out behind him. With a twinkle in his emerald eyes, he sends a lightening-fast left hook at her jaw with bone crushing force. It was a stout punch, enough to most likely stun her if it were to land flush, but still not enough to seriously injury someone of her fortitude.

*Synge sits quietly watching the two. She is a little surprised to see Ksi react the way he does to the lack of Red's commitment to the first attack. He must be really serious, or excited about getting the chance to test his strength. I can't wait to see what he can do! Without even thinking about it she raised her arm in the air as if to cheer on the battle silently, but once she realized what she was doing she quickly pulled her arm back down with a reddened face.*

Red senses his movement in the air a second before he makes it, but is still a little to slow. As she tries to dodge his hand by ducking right he brushes along side her jaw, just enough to send her slightly off balance falling backwards. However, recovering quickly she turned her fall into a flip, her feet now shooting up to kick Ksi square under the chin, which would send him reeling backwards if it made contact.

Ksi’s face gracefully moves to the side, just enough to avoid her kick. The wind off of it flutters through his hair, a pleased look on his face. To him, it was as if they were moving in slow motion, but even still he could feel his fighting spirit rise. He truly loved fighting, this was how he lived. Most importantly, he could tell that Red was starting to heat up. This only fueled him further, as he looked forward to seeing more of her technique. When she lands, most likely low to the ground, he darts forward and throws a crushing blow of a knee at her face.

She was starting to get into the move of things now. The blood flowing through your veins she could hear it pounding in her ears as the world seemed to slow down around her. Going into a low crotch as she landed, she saw slash felt Ksi's knee coming at her. Planting her feet more firmly on the ground she placed her hands out in front of her to grab Ksi's knee, all of which happens in an instant. If she is successful she'll grab and twist his leg as she uses his momentum to pull his body and ram his leg into the ground.
(sorry its taking me so long to post, been having a few off days)
