((I'd kind of prefer pups to join, but anyone is fine)) A small maw opened, a pink tongue lolling in the warmth of the day as a young pup lay among the reeds near the river. All around her, the long green fronds swayed, tickling her downy fur. Sunlight shown through the trees in sporadic blotches around her, and Alice found rest in the peace. The reeds rustled as Alice turned over onto her stomach, bright cyan eyes darting around curiously before they fell upon the water's edge. There, so close to where she was, sitting on the bank, was a frog.
Her eyes widened, double tails swishing in different directions behind her as she watched the amphibian. It didn't do much, it just...sat. Was just there, just being, hardly interesting. Moving closer on her belly, the pup snuffled her nose right towards the frog, wrinkling her nose a bit with a giggle as it touched the frog. Immediately though, it jumped away, splashing her with water as it swam through the shallow water franticly. With a snort, Alice shook her head, blinking before with a playful yip starting after the frog. "Hey, where're you going? I only wanna play!" she yipped, jumping from the reeds into the water. The river wasn't very deep, and at the part she had plunged in only reached up a little bit lower than her elbow. Sloshing through the wolf femme chased after the amphibian, yelping and laughing as she did so.

 ((No one's taken, so I'll slip in ^_^ )) "They don't usually like it when you do that kiddo," A warm teenage voice called out from the other reeds where a light blue and spotted wolf sat, basking while he waited for his adopted brother to get back from hunting. Ati had found her very funny, the young pup who chased around the little frog.
"You should be careful, don't want to fall in and drown," He chuckled warmly, clearly meaning no harm to the cub, "Wouldn't want you to get hurt. You should find some other pups your own age, they're more likely to play with you."

 Phoenix rolled over at the sound of the voices. Peering through the reeds as they swayed in the wind he could see an odd little black and white striped pup. 'It has two tails.' He thought to himself. Slowly standing and stretching his legs as he clawed at the ground. Lightly pushing his way through the reeds he stood a few feet from the waters edge and looked of at the other teen wolf. "Good afternoon." He said with a slight yawn for just haven woken up. "And good afternoon to you as well little one." He said to the pup as he sat down to watch her, meaning no harm to either of them. Just out for an afternoon stroll.

"Well," Ati chuckled, stretching out and standing up, peering back and forth between the other teen and the pup. Odd, he hadn't seen this many wolves in one place since his parents had died. If Kyuu came back soon, then they could have practically formed a ack if they'd wanted, "Hi over there. Nice afternoon for lazing around the river, don't you think?" He mentioned, feeling very jolly.
But then, he so often was in a good mood lately.

Phoenix stretched again, white ears going back, swishing his white tail and digging his white and purple ringed toes into the soft soil. "Why yes it is. There's so many of us out today." He said with a smile as he continued to watch the little pup. With a slight yawn he flopped himself back down on his stomach glancing over at the waters edge, wrinkling his nose. He looked back over at the other blue teen wolf as he thumped his tail on the ground.

Alice stopped in her tracks as she heard a voice from the reeds not far from where she herself had been laying not too long ago. Turning her head curiously, she looked towards the strangely furred wolf, both tails going up in a matter of wary apprehension as she flicked her head to keep her floppy right ear out of her face. "Who're you?" the pup questioned with a cocked head, wondering who and what this wolf was talking like her mother.
Just then, another wolf appeared, the small femme having to blink twice at the bright colors that this one carried. "I'm not little!" Alice replied defensively with an in-dignified snort. But as the two started to converse, her attention soon drew back to the frog she was currently chasing. Well, more was than is. 'Dangit!' she thought to herself with a sigh, seeing as the pesky amphibian had gotten away and was no where to be seen. So, she padded towards the shore and sat down, shaking her legs dry and curling both tails around her as she listened to the older wolves.

Ati chuckled a little, amused by both of the wolves, "I'm Ati, and you're right young one, you certainly aren't little. Mind if I ask your names my friends?" He asked, his tail thumping up and down on the shore as he looked back and forth between the two other wolves.
They were both very interesting, both that the girl had two tails and the strangely colored male, not that he wasn't all that strange himself. He had just never seen a wolf that brightly colored before.

Phoenix rolled over onto his side and let out yet another great yawn. "Nice to meet you Ati, I am called Phoenix. Rolling back over onto his stomach he slowly stands up and lightly shakes himself off. Taking a few steps towards the pup with a smile across his jaws. "I did not mean to offend you, I was just referring to that you are still a pup. That is all." He sat back down, this time closer to the little female pup and the other male.

"Well, we're not all that old now are we?" Ati chuckled, standing and shaking himself out, looking at the two-tailed wolf pup, "What's your name, my new female friend you?"

She smiled towards the blue cloudy looking male as he told her his name, nodding as he agreed that she wasn't little. Both tail swayed a little behind her happily, then looking over towards the brightly colored wolf. She scooched closer to Ati as the red male, Pheonix, sat down. "I'm Alice." she replied with a nod of her head, her earrings jingling softly as she did so.

"Alice... that's a very pretty name." Ati smiled at her, settling back down and wagging his single tail as he shook himself out lightly, yawning and grinning, "What are you doing out here my young friend?"
He really was curious. After all, he had only lived on his own with Kyuu because both of them had nowhere else to go. Then again, he loved his life now. He missed his family, but with Kyuu he had found that there was always somewhere else to go in the end.

The pup beamed at his response, blushing a bit under her fur, though thankfully out of view. She'd never really heard anyone say something that nice about her. But really, she hadn't heard anybody say much of anything for a long time, since she ran away.
"Well, I guess I was just laying around in the reeds, but then I was chasing the frog. And now I'm talking to you." Alice replied, not exactly getting the jest of what he was talking about.

Ati looked at her for a moment and then laughed happily, tilting his head to the side, "You so seem very friendly. Very well, I suppose only today is a fairly sufficiant answer. It sounds very much like an afternoon I myself would heartily enjoy."
He snuggled into his place, looking between Pheonix and Alice, chuckling a little again, "And here I was thinking I was the only young one wandering around out here... besides Kyuu of course. He's my brother, though where he's run off to, I couldn't tell you."

Phoenix thumps his tail happily on the ground as the other two wolves seem to be very friendly. "Well now, we should not let this beautiful day go to waste." He says with a nod as he stands up. "There must be something we can do together. Why not look for Kyuu, Ati? That could prove to be interesting. And lead us away from the water." He said as he glared down at the water.

"Oh well now..." Ati smiled a little bit, his own tail thumping the ground, "Kyuu is a little anti-social. He probably wouldn't like it if I brought a whole bunch of new wolves to see him. We can go hang out somewhere else though, if you don't like water. Pheonix, Alice, shall we?" Ati offered, gesturing with his paw in a very fancy motion.
It was true that he didn't know how Kyuu would take it if he dragged over a bunch of new wolves... he probably wouldn't be all that happy. But he did need to get out more...
