Ok I got this idea from watching Spike Tv recently and seeing the advertisements for the Guy's Choice awards. So I thought that it would be cool if someone put together a Guilds choice awards for Final Fantasy. I can't do it because I'm not on enough, so I hope someone will take up the courage to do it for me, thanks!

I'm just wondering, how would we go about it? a poll wouldn't do justice by my opinion... it's just too simple. Also what categories would we have? I have a few suggestions as far as that goes:
Best Final Fantasy (last to be announced of course)
Best Main Character/Leading Male
Best Supporting Male
Best Leading Female
Best Supporting Female
Best Villain
Best Supporting Villian (i.e. Rufus/Shin-Ra, Emperor Ghystahl, Siefer, Garland, etc. villians who weren't the final boss(not counting FFIX.. cuz necron doesn't count)
Best Music
Best Storyline
Most Difficult Final Fantasy
Easiest Final Fantasy
Best Minigame
Best Airship
Best Chocobo Music
Best Cid
ok I can't come up with anymore... so um.. does that help?

No idea. We should probably 'offically' select the catagories... And then once that is done, maybe a period of nominations? Some are kinda obvious (like Cloud definatly being the Leading Man) but others, like best music, would need weeding down.
The only problem I can see is that you'd want to poll the members, but you don't want them to know who's winning...

Wow, sounds fun. I think those are some good categories, and nominations would work well... All I can think of, though, for a poll where you can't see the results is maybe to use PM's, but then we'd just have to trust whoever set it up not to rig the results. sweatdrop

That should work...
Now one would have to assign the people in charge... Decide if it's a mod job, or if it should be done by volunteers.

I'm not quite sure how we could qualify people to join outside of being a mod, but I'd sure like to be able to help out as well.... sweatdrop
