okie, so...my husband and I just found out i'm pregnant. ^.^
but he wants to wait till we go to the doctor to confirm it , before we start anouncing it to the world.
Now, were visiting my family and such at the end of july id be about..three-four months then.
Do you think thats to long to wait to tell them? Do you think hes being silly in waiting till we go to the doctor? Hell do you even think its better to tell our family in person?Idk lol
Im just down right giddy and I wanna run around telling every one. So i don't know ...exactly whats the "right" or even "best" thing todo.

I think it's better to tell everyone in person, even if you have to wait a while.. of course, it's always hard to wait, isn't it? We just found out we're pregnant again, and I wanted to wait till the end of the first trimester, in case anything went wrong, but my husband's told everyone in the world, and I'm kind of glad.. not sure I could take it keeping a secret! Oh, and congratulations!

Congrats!
I think that if your husband wants to wait, that's okay. Just to make sure everything's okay before you go telling everyone the good news. 3nodding

I'd wait until you've gone to the doctor and heard the heartbeat, to verify that it's a viable pregnancy and that the baby is so far doing just fine.. or is there at ALL.
After that, I know lots of people like to wait until the danger of miscarriage is a lot lower, but that's up to you. I couldn't wait that long!

While waiting to find out that you are is a good thing. it's also a good idea to wait until you are there and when you're 3-4 months. People are more likely to miscarry when they are in the 1st trimester. That way you'll be at the end and it's pretty sure that you will be caring the baby to full term before you tell everyone.

My boyfriend ran around and told everyone that I was pregnant the day we found out, which I didn't want to because I didn't believe the doctor and I thought it was just a mistake... So i'm with your boyfriend on waiting until you go to the doctor, maybe not for the same reason, but when I went the first time I got ultrasound pictures and those are always nice to have when telling people ^_^

I'd wait. I can imagine the excitement, but I can also imagine the crappiness of "I'm pregnant!" followed by "Oh... I'm not" or "I lost it". While it certainly must be exciting, I couldn't imagine the sadness if you had to tell your family you weren't pregnant after telling them you were.
