I'd like this to act as a running prayer request for the people in our lives to whom we really wish to minister the Word. I have a good friend named Matthew who has strayed from Christ; I pray for him every night that he may find the light again.
Also, I suggest we all get down on our knees and beseech of God that he help those souls in the Middle East, and other untouched countries, recieve and follow Christ. For our evangelists and leaders in the faith, who risk everything for the sake of people who often have the mind to kill and imprison them. For the men and women around the world who want desperately to follow Christ, but are supressed from it and do not have access to a Christian community.
I also pray for those who have been raised in a corrupt form of Christianity and have been given a wrongly painted veiw of Christ. They will be the most reluctant to return, because they have seen the church at its worst: I pray that they endure and survive their trials well, and shining for the sake of the Lord.
