It was a great afternoon. She was sitting by the river kind of bored. She thought what a fun thing might be to do. Then, she thought... ~I haven't seen little Yuki in a while... I shall go find out what he's doing~
She stood up and flapping her wings; she flew to his house. When she finally got there, she came to a window she found open. "Yuki, love! Are you busy today? You wanna go do something with ness?"

Yuki was of course home, curled up on his make shift bed with his sketch pad, drawing. He blinked and glanced up, a paw raising to straiten his glasses. "Ms. Ness?" He smiled softly and sat up, putting the sketch pad to the side. "Good afternoon Miss..." With a soft groan he stood, brushing down his fur. Though it wasn't a sudden change, and barely noticable at all, he was a bit taller from the last time she had seen him, and in the light you could see a few white hairs here and there starting to grow into grey plain fur. Though he still looked dorky and plain... It was obvious that he was slowly growing into himself.
"If you'd like, I wouldnt mind doing something."

Ness fluttered down to where he was. She was about to pick him up and just hoist him on her shoulders, but she noticed that he was getting heavier. "I do say Yuki... I think you're getting bigger. Keep growing like this.. and I will not be able to fly you around much anymore. I can be tough.. but I am not tough enough to fly big boy numas all around." She smiled as she was gonna try to fly out the window.
Apparently, their combined weights were now a little heavier than she remembered it being. She wasn't taking off at all. Finally, she let Yuki slide off. "Yuki.. I think we are too heavy for me to fly. We are just going to have to walk then.. and that's ok.. right?"

Yuki blinked a bit, staring up at her wide-eyed. "Really? You really think I'm getting bigger..?" He looked down at himself, smiling. "I dont really look at myself anymore.. so I wouldnt know... But oh, that's wonderful to hear!" He beamed and giggled a bit, then tilted his head.
"Oh no Ms. Ness. I don't mind walking at all!" He offered his paw to her. "Especially with you. And it's a nice afternoon..."

Ness took his hand in fact. She noticed that it was feeling warmer than usual. She wondered why that was. Did males' paws feel warmer on the inside as they got older? She smiled down at him and tilted her head. She thought she saw something moving in his gray fur.
"Ok then, let's go for a walk.. if we're lucky.. the walk will take us by my house... where there is ice cream." She looked at him and winked at him. She had every intention of taking him there since she had decided to get him in the first place.
