I shall start the photographical montaage with a tour of my backyard.

We'll start from the back. My yard is square, and this is the northeast corner. It's my hideyhole.
heart The water splash and green cup add character. That bouquet on the swing? I picked it! >.< It has magnolias and red roses and gardenias and weird green berry things and a HUGE weed that's like twice my size only that's just a little part of it. It looks like rice on a green branch, I like it.
TO the left is a huge green monstrosity that is my yellow rosebush. There's yellow easter lilies beside it and on each side of my arbor thing there's a thin vine with huge purple flowers on it. ON the other side is another rosebush, but red ones and not as big. Behind it is a coyfish pond without the coyfish and gardenia bushes. I planted most of this myself!
heart
A closeup of a white rose. It's a little bush I bought a few weeks ago. It's sister is.....not so big.
sweatdrop I love roses!

To the right we see orange and red easter lilies. They came with the house and grow like crazy.

Waaaaaaay over on the west side, behind the pool, (salt water now
heart ) is a huge mass of Gardenias. This is just the part you can see. The yellow ones are, um...older! Yes! And more mature! ><

To its left we see Dead Rosebush. It had white roses on it but then the base started dying and we couldn't do anything because there were roses on the ends of all the branches! Little bitty white ones. But not it's dead. ):

This is baby tree! I name it the Deku Tree because I can. We planted it last year after the hurricane knocked our old pine tree clear across our yard! IT WAS AWESOMEEEEE!!! "You know you live on the Gulf when...having a tree in your living room doesn't necessarily mean it's Christmas." I got a million of 'em.

This is Greg. Yes I know it's a tree. In fact, it's an apple tree! I don't know whatkind of apples because it only started growing them this year and they're tiny and green and not too tasty. Just like our limes. (We thought we had a lime tree but then we left one on and surprise! They were oranges. :/) My sister got it as a present for.............something. Whatever it was for, I didn't get one.
stare
This is my cat! His name is Smokey. I rescued him when I was nine and a half in West Texas--he was lounging just like that on the other side of the river (Nueces, maybe? Meh.) and I picked him up and he was in awful awful shape and Dad said if he stayed all weekend we could take him home and he did because he LOVES me! And I love him ohsomuch
heart He's like, my favorite member of the male race EVER. Even Todd! Todd is my Beta fish and he chews on my finger sometimes. >.< I even like him better than Squiggles.
He had a fight with something--maybe a possum, might've been Mouse, the neighbor's cat (I named him!) but it's healing all right, so no worries.
cool Note the fancy rug. I don't like it much, but meh, I don't decorate my own house. I would have had carpet too! I love carpet.
