I was in the General Discussion just lurking and posting normally. Then someone posted a thread saying "FLEET OF UFO ABOVE PERU/MEXICO!!" I clicked it, I jsut saw the "Fleet of UFO" part and thought to myself "OMG EVENT STARTING!?" then I was disappointed, saw nothing. But there was a youtube video, here it is: http://youtube.com/watch?v=dkNdXncScmYIf you ask me, it looks like balloons. Here's another one, I went to youtube. xd http://youtube.com/watch?v=KywIQTRHfXwQuestions: Do you think aliens are real? What if they aren't? What's your view on aliens? I think aliens could be real, because it seems to weird if we were the only race on this planet. =/

I think it's possible. And videos on youtube are not very good for giving evidence because of the severly low quality.
However, while I do think it's possible that there are other planets with civilizations on them in the universe, I don't really think they're as interested in this planet as some people seem to think they are. I think that most of the really wierd UFOs we see are actually time machines from the distant future, studying the past in the most awesome way possible.

It would be the epitome of egotism to suggest that humanity is special in being the only intelligent life in the universe. Because we are only dealing with two possibilities. Either life is fairly common despite the lack of evidence (and this does not preclude life too alien for us to readily identify it as being intelligent) or... we are truly alone in the universe.
Its far more plausible for humanity to be one of many different sentient life forms than to suggest we are completely alone upon this tiny speck of rock circling a single sun that will one day wink out and make the universe that much more of an empty place. Or at least it is less depressing to think the first option...
Anyways, We look to the stars, to space for reassurance in a grand plan, some large scheme of things in which we are only a cog in. We hope for contact with neighbors from further away than we can actually imagine. Why? Because humanity is a social animal and we want some sign that we are not alone in this great vast emptyness.
Of course, if you take things in a purely mathematical approach, the universe is uninhabited. As infinite as it is, if you divided any finite number into it, it would result in a number so close to zero that the difference would be neglible.
so, we must not exist. Fun thought eh?

I watched a documentory on UFO sightings the other day. UFOs appear over Mexico all the time... near some Aztec Ruins and this volcano.

IlilotIblake Yeata Zi I watched a documentory on UFO sightings the other day. UFOs appear over Mexico all the time... near some Aztec Ruins and this volcano. The volcano that erupted? Or the volcano near Taluca or whatever? When they had a picture it was erupting... kind of.... and they circled the UFO... someone argued it was debris, but it wasn't flying out like ash would... It just kinda hung there on the film. ummm... UFOs are found alot near the wonders ofthe World...
