Hi! I'm Ashley and I just joined the guild a few days ago. I haven't been on that much because I've been busy studying for finals and all that...
Anyways, here's my poem...tell me what you think biggrin
Whispers of the Heart
Feelings of rage swell and tauntingly grow,
Causing brazen ideas to form and flow,
Crevices within the soul become irate,
As wily knaves plant seeds of hate.
Yet a rugged legion of a mortal’s aspires,
Will eventually and sparsely transpire,
By humbly offering an apology as if in atone,
All the while, rasping in a soft baritone.
A quiet rumbling develops over time,
Prompting the chords of our soul to gently unwind,
Not giving us time to meander or think,
Just a fleeting second for our hopes to link.
The joy, the sorrow, the pain, the rage,
It’s all just the same as before,
What use is it to deny one’s feelings,
For they are what make life worth living for.

What kind of writing do you do? Poetry or different types of writing like short stories or something?
