The Story Thus Far. . .
Once upon a time, in a city called Marcelles, there lived a young woman name Elda. She was a soft-spoken librarian who lived happily on the edge of the city’s suburbs. But Elda had a secret, she was deathly afraid of being alone with no friends or loved one’s. She didn’t have family or close friends and longed for one dearly.
One day while coming home from her job at the library, she discovered a wonderful store called Mooncakes Bakery. Being a lover of sweets, she went inside and a wonderful scent enveloped her. It was Vanilla Crème Puffs. Elda bought a box of sweet iced sugar cookies and some crème puffs and then went home to enjoy her sweets.
Once home, Elda realized there was something in her bag from the shop other than her sweets. Tucked inside the white paper bag was a small music box with a broken lock. Stunned and confused on how this item made it into her bag when she had no recollection of purchasing it, Elda set it on a small table in her hallway, meaning to return it to the shop.
About a week went by, and the music box sat forgotten on its table. Then, one night Elda was woken to a crash. She crept downstairs to see what the noise was and found that the box had magically grown to the size of a trunk!
A week after the trunk incident Elda came home from the library and discovered something most unusual. The trunk had opened, and asleep in her bed was a small child. When the girl woke up she told Elda that she had lived in the trunk and was there to keep Elda from being alone.

Personality. . . . Adele is . . . blunt, to put it nicely. Very outgoing and childishly honest, she says what she thinks without care or thought. She very open-minded to the world around her and accepts new things and ideas with a healthy amount of curiosity. She is, however, an attention whore and a bit of a flirt; rarely happy unless she’s in the spotlight.

Elda is embarrassed by Adele’s up-front nature, but is very found of the child. She likes that the girl is able to say what she thinks, something Elda herself finds very hard to do.
