Have you left home and gone off on your own ventures to live by yourself and work a full time job, etc? I'm currently in the process of it and I believe it sucks... Sucks majorly and absolutely and I'm been so worked up and depressed about it lately that I sorta just wanna cry. Of course, I'm being forced to do these things because my parents are selling my childhood home and moving like 120 miles away... I just think it's so depressing, and I truly realize how much parents do for their children now that mine won't be doing it anymore.
Spoon Fed: This is posted in hopes that other people will give me their own views on the subject, whether they've done this already, are in the process of it too, or just can imagine what I'm talking about.

Eh. I just did the opposite and moved back home for the summer.
Trust me, after you live on your own for a while, you won't be able to imagine going back. The freedom totally makes up for the stress and occasional hunger. Besides, you need any tips on mooching, I can help you out. I know how to find free food and utilities, such is my talent.
Comes from being homeless for a couple weeks when I ran away from home couple years back. Seriously dude, talk to me, I know what I'm doing. Sorta. Occasionally. Not really. But I can fake it better than anyone else.

That must have been when the mortal Dema ascended... 3nodding 3nodding *worships* Yeah, living at home, don't happen to want to leave. I am anti-social, like it that way, and relaxing is perhaps my favourite hobby/occupation. Will have to make a change soon though (unwanted as it is) because year twelve finishes for me this year, so I'll have to actually do stuff for myself! gonk

Yes. For 6 months. It was an experience. One I would be more than willing to try again once I'm more prepared for it (and without all the crap). I enjoyed living away from home and trying to make it on my own, my only regret is my choice of relationships and having to live in a share house.
I can be quite antisocial, I like to keep to myself and chillout when I come home, instead of have to try to entertain people i.e flatmates. Next time = NO FLATMATES!
