To make the speed roll much fairer I believe that instead of your SPD being added to the die roll, it is times.
Therefore there is a much better chance of a fairer starting roll.
Thoughts?

I don't think we should have to roll for speed... I mean, what if you have really high speed and roll a low number, and your enemy has really low speed and gets a high number? Then all the gold you spent on making your character fast would be wasted! I think we should just go with our speed alone. It would make things much simpler and easier.

well, as demonstrated by my previous character, when your speed is high enough you no longer need to even roll. My speed was at 15 I think and no one could roll high enough except for blueraven to beat that. and even of we multiplied our roll by the speed it would not even out so much that if my old character rolled a 2 he would get a 30, not a 17

The roll is mainly to add a degree of fairness to a game.
Additionally I thought this up for the future, for example imagine having 500 SPD, a extra 6 wouldn't do anything really.
