Ruby had just felt the squeeze on her stomach as she was hurled through the portal. Her eyes were forced open to witness a blinding display of ghosts, flashing images, distorted faces, and then it all became black.
Her paws touched hard ground. It felt dusty or sandy, warm, but slightly itchy. She opened her eyes again and they twitched as they adjusted to the low light. A buzzing sound held her ears in torture. Ruby crept forward across the grey mass infront of her. There were no sounds of footprints, or if there were they were muffled.
Over a period of time, Ruby grew closer to water, and closer to accepting this as her new home. Her father had written in his will that she was to look after his precious land and start a family here. She had always been a fan of the dark side but this was her own nightmares, come to life right infront of her. After reaching the water and taking a small drink she thought would she ever be able to hear again. When will she meet the other modis told to come here. What were their nightmares?

Endrance welcomed the strange images that came to him as he went through the portal, much as he greeted the black that greeted him once the images were gone. The haughty fox's tail twitched as he found himself standing on the strange new ground, looking around with feigned interested in his surroundings. He took a long sniff of the air, hearing the lack of sound through the muffled and strange atmosphere.
He began to walk, exploring this strange new place as though he was use to the odd formations that the took. As the muffled noises of a waterfall approached he caught a slight scent, a change in the air that signaled that he wasn't the only one that had happened upon this spot. He wondered if this fox was another that had been told to come, or if they were an unfortunate fox that had somehow ended up here. He walked gracefully, almost slinking along the ground as he headed towards this scent.

Ruby, sat by the water, cleaned the end of her tail in the water. She licked some of the wet, reshaping her tail back into a point. Then the black fox stood up to turn back towards the portal and to find a purple form somewhere in the distance. Ruby tried focusing on it and in doing so realized it was either getting bigger or drawing closer. Ruby slowly crept towards it untill noticing the form had a head, legs, and a tail. It looked to be another modifox! and at long last.
Thinking quickly over the what would be the best impression to make on her first fox, she licked the chest fur to bush it up bigger, and relaxed her eyes. On closer ground she spoke to him. "Hi, i'm Ruby, new owner of these lands. May I ask who is approaching?"

Endrance stopped a few feet away from the fox, observing her quietly. "Endrance..." he finally said in introduction, seeming to not be that impressed by the fox. His tail flicked to the side for a moment, and he moved to walk to the edge of the water. "Are there only two of us? I would think this place would be very particular about who belonged and who didn't." He tipped his head down, taking a few laps of the water as he did so. As he drank, he admired his reflection in the water before his eyes moved back to the other fox.

"From what my father wrote about to me, this land is very welcoming to modifoxes, even trying to lure ones that dont want to be here." Ruby replied, using her father to gain points over the second fox. "He was an elder of these lands... but then he got tired and his old settlement left."
Ruby knew that the purple fox would want to ask more questions, but she didnt know much about this place herself. She had only inherited it on her father's passing with a small note...

A blue and purple modifox entered through the portal at a speed and landed awkwardly on the ground.
"Bleeergh! Thats not an experience a modifox would want to go through willingly!"
Vogue pushed the dirt around and sniffed. She paused for one moment noticing the strange deafness as she sniffed. Dismissing it she began to following a track of a modifox, or two. The trail lead to thicker air that steamed. It was likely that there would be water nearby. It was times like these she realy needed her hearing. Hunting was about hearing as much as smell and sight. The scent was getting stronger, meaning it was fresh. Vogue looked up to see a blurry image of a purple and a black fox not too far away. She wondered if they could see her yet.

Endrance listened to what Ruby was saying, and then gave a dramatic flick of his tail. "Ah, so he left, and decided you would take his place? How...lovely. I can assure you, I am not one of those foxes that don't wish to be here. I welcome what these lands have to offer. Oh...it looks as though we may have another guest..." Endrance's eyes flickered over to another form that was approaching them through the haze.

Ruby followed Endrance's eyes. "Yes, and a modifox at that!"
Ruby took from the water and greeted the new fox. "I'm Ruby. And who is this pretty fox i see infront of me?"
Sniffing the fur around her neck, Ruby relaxed around her and waited for her to speak.

Vogue stood still as Ruby appeared to be checking her out. "I'm Vogue. I saw a strange blurred shape in the darkness of some woods and after approaching it somehow got hurtled through to here. I'm not complaining though, strange ghostly shapes lurking from the skies are better than putting up with kiss chase with childish modis."
She bowed her head at the other fox. He seemed like a very pretty fox, but it was a shame she had made up her mind not to go that way. She preferred the scent and thrill of females.

"Agreed. I always wished for the day that those lala land modis would wake up to a world full of suffocation and despair" Ruby gave a mischievous glare to the skies. "I'm beginning to like this place more and more, but the wait for more foxes is making my anxious. We could finish with the water and head backwards nearer to portal."

Endrance observed the two for a few moments as they talked, taking the time to clean his fur. "We may as well, not all who come through the portal will end up here by the water as it is," he said, standing casually now that he had his fur in place. He, as Vogue would put it, also had his mind set not to go the normal way of females. He preferred another male, and he certainly did hope he wasn't going to end up being the only male that came to these lands.

the lack of interest in this tribe compared to similar tribes like reiki clan have forced me to abandon this idea. sorry.
feel free for anyone to steal the idea/images if they wish to do it themselves.
