I don't care one bit about them, although they bring new screenshots, which is always sort of nice.

ARG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sick and tired of you so called tourney players who constantly whine about the new site! It's bad enough that I see this all the time on GameFAQs's Brawl Boards, but here too?

The vast majority of the people who plan on getting this game are not tourney players! The majority of people who will buy Brawl are going to play with items. So guess what....that majority of the people who are going to get Brawl want to know about the items.
And last time I checked, the new site is going to want to please the majority of the players.

And guess what? You guys aren't a "higher level" than the people who play with items. I'm the second best SSBM I know, and I always play with items. I know only one person who's better than me, and he plays with items too. You know why? BECAUSE IT'S FUN! We're not less skilled because we play with items. If anything, we're more skilled because in addition to dealing with our opponents, we're also good at reacting to the element of randomness added by items.

I never use items, but I' not like a hardcore player like you guys. I just think it's interesting that these new items are being announced and some people want to hear about them. Oh, and of my friends the three best people are me, B, and G in that order. B always uses items, and I finally can beat him with items on. Which makes me second now. But the items still throw in an interesting part to casual fights. SO if you don't wanna hear about new items, then don't listen. All I care about is stages and characters, but this satisfies our thirst for new news until something big happens.
