Jonathon stared at Cordelia and sipped on his slurpee. He tried hiding behind a pillar so she wouldn't see him.
(Jonathon's that short guy that pops up here and there throughout the series, in case you didn't know hehe...he's very nerdy)

Despite his attempts to be missed, Cordelia had wimp radar and immediately noticed him. She walked over to Jonathan and had a seat next to him. She poked his slurpee straw out of his mouth. "What are you up to NERD?"

Jonathon's cheeks turned bright red. "Uh...I..." He couldn't find the words to stand up for himself. He wished he were much more masculine. Instead he felt the tears swelling up in his eyes. Why did she have to be like this? He knew that he should have just stayed home and played video games or something.
Buffy tapped Cordelia on the shoulder. "Excuse me, why do you have to be such an obnoxious b***h all the time?"

Buffy gasped. "What makes you think you can talk to people like that? Your mouth really isn't connected to your brain, is it?"
Buffy's fist clenched in anger. She wished Cordelia were a vampire so she could stake her, but she can't solve all her problems by physical fighting.

"And what makes you think you can dress like that?" Cordelia pointed to Buffy's plain black outfit. "I'm so done here!" She walked away and onto the dancefloor and began dancing seductively around a couple of guys.

"We need to teach her a lesson, she has to understand that it's not okay to treat people like that!" Buffy looked at her. "It's so not fair! She's getting all the hot guys and stuff, and she's such a b***h!"
Jonathon looked meekly at Buffy and Faith. "I um....thanks for that."

Cordelia thought to herself as she danced the night away... "Why am I such a b***h? Why do I act the way I do? Sometimes I wish I had more true friends...but for some reason whenever I interact with people, it just comes out wrong... Oh well!" She proceeded to drop it like it's hot, and flirt with the boys.

Quon smirked from her spot at the bar. "Oh, the little brat doesn't get all the boys. Not even close. Not anymore." with that, she sent a 'come hither' look into the crowd, sipping daintily at her drink while leaning back so as to show off her curves. At least ten guys immediately surrounded her, wanting to buy her a drink.

Cordelia looked baffled as several guys she was dancing with suddenly rushed over to the bar. She noticed a girl at the bar who was sitting in the middle of a swarm of guys. "What the hell?" she thought.

Quon flirted and teased, gossiped and laughed, and let the boys buy her drinks. And she drank them. Every single one. With no effect. That girl could hold alchohol like no other. She was a monstrous tease. After a while, she invited a few to dance with her. The rest watched, drooling, as she danced incredibly sexily.

Buffy's muscles ached. She tried to dance with Faith, but her mind was elsewhere. God couldn't she relax and have a good time? Even Jonathon looked happier now that she stood up for him.
She knew that Faith thought she was simply some uptight suburban girl while Faith was that cool chick with the urban tattoos but hmm Buffy didn't care. Or so she told herself. Buffy sighed and looked at Cordelia and the other new gal. She wanted to fit in so much sometimes...she was on top of the food chain at her old school, but here she was nobody.
"I'm sorry Johathon", Buffy whispered to herself, "but I have to do this. Forgive me..." Buffy then went up to the wimp. "Excuse me, who gave you permission to exist?" She pushed him out of the way and begun dancing like an extroverted slut. She hated what humans did to each other... how people preyed on each other, but at the same time she felt she couldn't do anything to stop it, she felt helpless. Vampires, sure, she could beat them up- but human evil? She could only succumb to it. She felt a strange presence near her, she didn't feel good about what she did but she felt like it would make her a 'somebody'. Willow and Xander, they would have to understand.
Buffy smiled at Cordelia. "Sorry about before. I was just being a lame-a**. Those are really nice shoes!" she said cheerfully. "Yeah man chug that beer!" she said to some preppy jock boy while clapping. There's no way Buffy couldn't have it both ways. She could be friends with everybody, she was sure of it. There didn't have to be any sides. She could be a loser AND a preppy.
