Here's the deal. My boyfriend and I are only broken up with because he has to fight in Iraq, but I still love him. Apart of me will always belong to him, no matter what. His IQ is nearly 200. He is very smart, and his life experience is amazing. He is a Muslim. Islam is one of the few religions I do not understand well. I am open on religions, but as of now, I am an holistic atheist. I have a couple of questions that I would appreciate for this guild's Muslim members to answer.
In the beliefs section of this guild it says that non-Muslims can go to heaven. I get the part about Allah being a fair judge, but how exactly does that work? Do you just have to be a good person or what? I'm not going to lie I have sordid past. Also, the whole Jesus just looked like he had been crucified, how did that work exactly? That is vary confusing.

Well, to go to Heaven, you must believe in only one God, and must be a good person. Of course, nothing is garenteed, so you never know where you're going to end up until you get there. God is very forgiving, though, to those who truly regret their wrong doings and always rewards who do good. But you absolutley must believe in one God. As for Jesus, I was taught that the man who betrayed him became a sort of Jesus look alike and he was crucified, while God saved Jesus. I hope that helps. biggrin

y'know i respect you with all my heart for wanting to understand and muslims welcome you with open arms. but shamefully some are too strict to give you a chance.
My grandma was athiest but she loved my grandpa. She was norwegian and he was iraqi. But this was a long time ago, and that they were in iraq, but they had to move my mum's family to norway because of leagal reasons. Anyhoo, she tried to learn arabic, she tried to join with the rest of the iraqi family and even her family who we're strong christians understood and we all get along. Its just a matter if you try to learn the ways of islam and try to convert, i mean it cant hurt to spend several minutes of you time everyday to worship god. and not do it just coz your doing it, believe. you know, converts sometimes become really strong belivers.

mrs. pierre bouvier My mother once told me, if you convert for a good reason, like yours, god willforgive all your sins and are like a newborn baby-sinless...you also will go to heaven! That's absolutely true. It's like starting your life over again as a new person. You just have to make the better of it this time.
