Small black hooves pranced daintily around the puddles that dotted the wet field, splotches of mud peering up from the thick green grass. Even though the morning was gray and drizzly, Miri's mood was as sunny as could be. A good feeling had been about her for the last few days. Why? To be honest, she had no idea. She just.. Was happy. With a soft snort, she began an elegant canter straight through the shiney grass, water splashing up onto her legs and her stomach. Oh, it felt good to run~

Sastimos walked steadily through the same field. He did not notice the mare on the other side of the grass. He smoothed out his wings carefully as more rain began to pound down on them. They were rather sensitive. he began to take a small shower in the refreshing rain. It was not always that he was able to enjoy such a pleasure. After trotting through an extremely large and muddy puddle he ended up staring at a beautiful mare on the other side of the field. He whinnied a greeting and watched her curiously.

As the sound of another's whinny reached Miri's ears, she stopped short. Hazel eyes glanced around, unsure which direction it had come from. As she spotted the blue and silver stallion, she blushed. How silly he must think I am, running like that, mud all over me. She smiled weakly, nodding to him.
"How do you do?"

He trotted over to her with a calm smile. "Pretty lady is all muddy. Just like Sastimos." He said and chuckled to himself. "How is pretty lady on this fine day?" he asked her and bowed his head. He shook his long braids trying to get the mud out of them.

"Seems like everything's muddy today. Just keeps raining." She laughed softly, tossing her head to get curly bangs out of her eyes. Her smile grew, and her blush changed to a deep red. "Pretty lady? You flatter me, sir. But I'm good. How about yourself?"

"Sastimos does not mean to make pretty lady blush. Sastimos is good today. What is pretty lady's name?" he blurted curiously. He smiled at her then looked at the sky. He found it hard to believe that the rain would ever stop pouring but he was glad it hadn't stopped yet.

"My name's Miri. Pleasure to meet you, Sastimos." She smiled, nodding her head slightly to him. Curly tail flicked behind her as she too looked up, watching the rain fall down to the lush earth for a moment before looking away, shivering slightly. "Cold rain, isn't it?" She laughed softly.

"Sastimos enjoys cold rain. Hurts his wings though. Wings are not liking rain." he said and shook his head after looking down at her. "Sastimos thinks pretty Miri and he should go do something. Sastimos needs fun." he said grinning.

"Aw, well. Want to find somewhere to get out of the rain? I wouldn't want your wings to hurt or anything.." She smiled, then tilted her head. "What do you want to do that would be fun?" She asked, shivering slightly again.

"If pretty Miri would like to get out of cold rain we must." he said. "Follow Sastimos. He will try to find somewhere unless pretty Miri has somewhere?" he said and walked forward a bit. He looked back at her politely expecting her to follow. He suddenly hoped she didn't mind his nickname for her. He always seemed to have nicknames for things. Some got annoyed by it. 'Pretty Miri' just seemed to fit her all to well.

"No, I've not got anywhere in mind. Please, lead on." Miri smiled, rather fond of her new nickname. It made her feel so nice, to think that a stallion such as he was would call her pretty. She didn't see why that had been the chosen nickname, because she certainly didn't stand out in the crowd appearance wise, but.

"Very well, Sastimos will lead. Pretty Miri should stand beside him to keep him more company." he said continuing to smile at her. He calmly began to walk, looking for places to go.

"Certainly, Sastimos." Miri smiled, speeding up a bit to walk beside him. She wanted company aswell, so this worked out nicely. Hazel eyes also searched for shelter, occasionally glancing over at Sastimos as they walked.

Sastimos looked around while he walked out of the field. Rain continued to pour down on them both now starting to annoy Sastimos. After walking a bit more he looked up to see something in the distance. He looked at Miri and smiled. Then he walked towards what seemed to be a deserted shed.
((Couldn't think of anywhere else for them to go. x3))

Curly mane stuck to Miri's neck, coat turning a shade darker as the rain continued to drizzle on them. Hazel eyes lit up at the sight of the shed, her feet pacing quicker now. "C'mon, let's run!" She said, giving him a soft nudge before taking off, laughing.
