[Trainer Information] Name: Blade Age: 19 Height: 5'10" Appearance:[click][click][click]Blade can often be seen donning all black, or nearly all black clothing. His coat, and a pair of fingerless gloves are just two of the things he can be seen with almost all the time. He has dark red eyes and long black hair that is normally kept back in a loose ponytail. His left ear also has two piercings in it. Also, since he is fairly skilled with a sword, he can often be seen with one on at his side. Personality: For the most part, Blade is fairly laid back, stubborn, and can be quite distant towards others. As a result of the latter, he is generally a loner, normally only in the company of his own pokemon. This does not mean that he doesn't like the presence of other people or that he'll purposely avoid contact with others; he just prefers to have his own space a lot of the times. Depending on the circumstances, he may be willing to help out a stranger, but he'll definitely attempt to help someone in need if they happen to be one of his few friends. And if someone does manage to befriend him, they should know that he would never purposely betray them, as this is taboo for Blade. This, and attacking those who are close to him, are two of the quickest ways of getting him angry. Also, as a side note, he has a strong liking for fire, dragons, and shiny things. History: From a young age, Blade has been on his own. He doesn't know what happened exactly, but the earliest memory he has is waking up on the side of a road alone with a small bag with a name on it. And that was the name Blade had taken for his own as he couldn't recall any other. Over the years he's managed to survive by learning various skills from several people. He stole what he needed, and nothing more most of the time. And once he was a little older, he began searching for any clues as to who he is exactly, or rather who his family was. He had to dig around and talk to quite a few people, but with it he eventually managed to find a place that seemed to be a former residence of someone within his bloodline. It was an abandoned old place that was almost picked clean of anything within. There was where he had found the sword he now possesses, which also happens to be the only item that may have some sort of connection to his family, as well as a half-shredded note. The sword apparently was supposed to be delivered to someone else, and the note had mentioned something of some other gift that was being kept elsewhere. There wasn't much to it, but from what was there, it could be implied that the other gift was a pokemon of some sort. A few more years went by, and Blade had worked on learning how to use the sword, as well as trying to find any other clues about what he sought. He hasn't been all too successful as of yet. What he doesn't know is that he isn't completely human, as he suspects.. thus allowing him some abilities that have been dormant until now. (this needs to be edited/fixed up sometime in the future..) Occupation: Thief Abilities: Thieving, some swordsmanship, and some abilities over fire Favorite pokemon types: Fire, dragon, dark Inventory 17000pg Liechi berry x 1 Thoughts on others Shu: Don't know much about her, but she seems nice. Riyo: Over all... she's a good person I believe. But she has a few inner demons to deal with. Mitsu: An innocent girl... but I really don't know much about her Poke: A gym leader who seems to like a good fight. She's pretty cool. Sadie: She's... a bit odd from what I can tell.

[The Team] Name: Gouku Gender: Male Species: Chimchar Nature: Impish Level: 92 Ability: Blaze - When HP is below 1/4th, add 10 damage if under level 10, 20 damage for level 11-30, 30 damage for 31-45, 40 damage for level 46-75, 50 for level 76-99, and 60 for level 100 Pokemon to all Fire attacks.
Personality: Gouku can be quite the troublemaker at times due to his mischievous ways. He's quite the happy-go-lucky pokemon who normally laughs at danger... just as long as that particular danger isn't so present. Like many other pokemon, he's very loyal to those he cares about, and he's very willing to go out of his way to help these people or pokemon. Movelist Bold = able to use 1 Scratch - no nondamage effect 1 Leer - lowers target's defense 7 Ember - 10% chance of burn 9 Taunt - prevents target from using non-damage attacks for current and next turn 15 Fury Swipes - attacks 2-5 times consecutively 17 Flame Wheel - 10% chance of burning, and can be used when user is frozen (will cure frozen state) 23 Nasty Plot - raises users special attack 25 Torment - prevents target from using same attack twice in a row 31 Facade - power is doubled if target is burned, paralyzed, or poisoned 33 Fire Spin - prevents target from escaping/switching out for 2-5 turns and causes small amount of damage each turn 39 Slack Off - restores up to half of user's max hp 41 Flamethrower - 10% chance of burning ~~~~~~~ Name: Fou Gai Gender: Male Species: Torchic Nature: Calm Level: 82 Ability: Blaze - When HP is below 1/4th, add 10 damage if under level 10, 20 damage for level 11-30, 30 damage for 31-45, 40 damage for level 46-75, 50 for level 76-99, and 60 for level 100 Pokemon to all Fire attacks.
Personality: Much unlike Gouku, Fou Gai is more calm and reserved, and he often has to try and keep the Chimchar from getting himself into trouble. He likes to think out things before deciding to do anything, but in urgent times he knows better than to waste much time trying to figure out what would be best to do.Movelist Bold = able to use 1 Scratch - no nondamage effect 1 Growl - lowers enemy attack 7 Focus Energy - increases chances of critical hits 10 Ember - 10% chance of burn 16 Peck - no nondamage effect 19 Sand-Attack - lowers enemy accuracy 25 Fire Spin - prevents target from escaping/switching out for 2-5 turns and causes small amount of damage each turn 28 Quick Attack - user attacks first 34 Slash - high chance of critical 37 Mirror Move - uses the same attack the enemy last used 43 Flamethrower - 10% chance of burn ~~~~~~~~ Name: Blood Vain Gender: Male Species: Blastoise Nature: Adamant Level: 100 Ability: Torrent - When HP is below 1/4th, add 10 damage if under level 10, 20 damage for level 11-30, 30 damage for 31-45, 40 damage for level 46-75, 50 for level 76-99, and 60 for level 100 Pokemon to all Water attacks.
Personality: Blood Vain has several issues with his trainer, and half the time he'll try and beat Blade down or possibly even kill him. The other half is when he sees cooperating with his trainer to be beneficial to himself. Along with that, he rarely will hesitate on attacking someone or something if provoked (or even unprovoked at times). This Blastoise also loves to exert his power over those weaker than him.Movelist Bold = able to use 1 Tackle 1 Tail Whip 1 Withdraw 1 Bubble 1 Flash Cannon 4 Tail Whip 7 Bubble 10 Withdraw 13 Water Gun 16 Bite 20 Rapid Spin 24 Protect 28 Water Pulse 32 Aqua Tail 39 Skull Bash 46 Rain Dance 53 Hydro Pump ~~~~~~~~ Name: Freedom Gender: Male Species: Butterfree Nature: Timid Level: 54 Ability: Compound Eyes- An item finding ability that slightly raises your luck during events. (this will be explained further x 3x;; Drawing a black lolz )
Personality: Freedom is a bit of a nervous wreck. And he doesn't really hesitate to hide or flee in the presence of danger. For some reason his attacks that may cause confusion seem to gravitate towards Fou Gai... It's for these reasons, along with the fact that Blade is slightly embarassed to use a butterfree in battle, that Freedom normally stays out of fights.Movelist Bold = able to use 1 - Confusion 10 - Confusion 12 - Poisonpowder 12 - Stun Spore 12 - Sleep Powder 16 -Gust 18 Supersonic 22 - Whirlwind 24 - Psybeam 28 Silver Wind 30 Tailwind 34 Safeguard 36 - Captivate 40 - Bug Buzz ~~~~~~~~ Name: Kaen Gender: Male Species: Charmander Nature: Hardy Level: 54 Ability: Blaze - When HP is below 1/4th, add 10 damage if under level 10, 20 damage for level 11-30, 30 damage for 31-45, 40 damage for level 46-75, 50 for level 76-99, and 60 for level 100 Pokemon to all Fire attacks.
Personality: Proud, stubborn and loyal are some ways to describe him. Kaen generally is quiet and keeps to himself, but he's pretty quick to ignite. If he loses, he only sees it as a sign to grow stronger. He tends to not get along with Blood Vain too well because of this however. Also, he knows of Blade's family, but he isn't too willing to tell everything.Movelist Bold = able to use 1 - Scratch 1 - Growl 7 - Ember 10 - Smokescreen 16 - Dragon Rage 19 - Scary Face 25 - Fire Fang 28 - Slash 34 - Flamethrower 37 - Fire Spin Name: Bahamut Gender: Male Species: Charizard Nature: Brave Level: 70 Ability: Blaze - When HP is below 1/4th, add 10 damage if under level 10, 20 damage for level 11-30, 30 damage for 31-45, 40 damage for level 46-75, 50 for level 76-99, and 60 for level 100 Pokemon to all Fire attacks.
Personality:Bahamut has the heart and soul of a warrior. He has strong beliefs and is more than willing to fight for them. He is both fierce and gentle, depending on the situation. Movelist Bold = able to use 1 - Air Slash 1 - Dragon Claw 1 - Ember 1 - Growl 1 - Scratch 1 - Shadow Claw 7 - Ember 10 - Smokescreen 17 - Dragon Rage 21 - Scary Face 28 - Fire Fang 32 - Slash 36 - Wing Attack 42 - Flamethrower 49 - Fire Spin 59 - Heat Wave 66 - Flare Blitz

It's been awhile since I first met up with Gouku. The little guy can be quite a handful at times which gets a bit tiring... but maybe he'll grow out of this 'phase,' or whatever you'd call it, soon. He seems to like to move things around, hiding my stuff all over the place. But at least he hasn't popped out of his pokeball to start trouble while I'm out raiding... some place. I still hope he stops with his antics, or at least save them for better times.
Though, I know I should start spending a little more time with him... But the problem is that he was kinda shoved off onto me. One of my friends had ended up with an egg somehow, and asked me to watch over it while he was out.
The thing hatched under my care, and the Chimchar won't go to anyone else now because of that. I wasn't really expecting to become his trainer, but I guess having him around should help me find it...
Also I guess I should be glad that it wasn't a Magikarp that hatched from that egg. Magikarp might evolve into something awesome, but if I had to be stuck with one pokemon for awhile... Magikarp would be at the bottom of my list...

I got an urgent call from someone I know in Yamino that needs me there as soon as possible. And while that's all fine and whatever, he didn't give me a chance to ask how I was going to get there since I've never been to that city before. I ended up asking someone who turned out to be a complete idiot for directions and because of that I wound up lost in the countryside.
Somewhere around there I found another weary traveler by the name of Riyo, as well as an old farmer couple that lived there. That latter were really... really enthusiastic and generous, while the trainer seemed pretty troubled by something going on.
And there's a lot more to her than meets the eye as I found out she's a demon that's been around for centuries. She calls herself a monster for that, as well as a few other things, but I don't think that's quite accurate.
I did get into a situation where she had tried to kill me, with her gigantic legendary pokemon Dialga standing in the background. But with some talking, she managed to stop herself from doing any actual harm. It's that, as well as the fact that she cares so much about her pokemon, that I think she can really change herself to be something more if she tried.
She left me a note sometime in the middle of the night, saying that it would be better off if we didn't meet again or that I should forget her. But if she's anything like me then she could probably use having at least one person to turn towards for harder times...
As for me, I'm just going to have to make sure I don't somehow end up as a major criminal... she's also a bounty hunter after all...

Along the way to Yamiyo, I had to cut through a rather thick forest. Nothing much would have happened really, but I ended up catching a Torchic there. It was fighting with a mankey nearby Shu who happened to be sleeping, or at least trying to, at the time.
I decided to catch him to partially cut down on the noise level that the wild pokemon were making at the time, and because I felt that I could use another on my team. He might not be too strong right now but I'll work with him to fix that as time goes on. And at least he's not like Gouku so much... he's a lot calmer and tends to take his time with some things.
Oh, and I named him Fou Gai by the way. It literally translates into "Fire Chicken"... but it really means "turkey". Don't let him know what the real meaning is.

Capturing Blood Vain the Blastoise It took him some time, but eventually Blade had managed to find his way to Yamino city one dark evening. Between getting some horrid directions from some random man he had asked, as well as a few other factors such as running almost getting killed in an incident involving what was probably the largest pokemon ever that had slowed his process, he was somewhat surprised that he was even there at all now. But that was all past now and it was time to get to the reason why he had come to this city in the first place, which was because of an urgent call from an acquaintance. However, what this person needed help with was still unknown.
Normally, he probably wouldn’t have gone far to do something for someone he barely knew when he didn’t even know why he was needed in the first place. But he owed this guy a favor. Whatever it was, it most likely was going to cause quite a bit of trouble though, considering he received several more calls after the first to tell him to hurry up on his arrival.
One good thing about all of this, however, was that it just felt nice to be in a city again after traveling through the wilderness and open roads for several days straight.
Blade glanced about the apparently deserted streets with some rising curiosity on what was happening here. Even though it was fairly late, there should have still been some more people out and about during this time. With a small shake of the head to himself, he brought out his phone and called his friend to see where he was now, but oddly enough no one answered. Frowning at this, he just continued on through the streets, deciding that he’ll just find a place to stay for the night and try to contact the guy again a little later.
The strange silence and stillness of the city disturbed him as he walked though. And as he moved on, he began to see some heavy damages throughout the area. While he hadn’t been to Yamino before, he thought that the city wouldn’t be so run down like this at all. Several cars seemed to be completely totaled, large cracks ran along the street, lights were busted with their poles bent out of shape, and further on he saw the distant glow of flames.
What the hell happened here…? It looks like there was a war or something…
At this point, he slowed his pace slightly at the thought of something dangerous in the region. Was all of this destruction the reason why the guy wanted him to come? But what good would it do for him to be here? It wasn’t as if he had any strong pokemon that could ward off some horrible beast. And while he might know how to fight, he figured it really wouldn’t do much good against whatever had done this to the city. In any case, Blade knew that he just needed to be careful and stay alert now.
The thief moved on cautiously through the dark streets, keeping an eye and ear out for anything that might be nearby. Hopefully he could find at least one non-hostile person around that might be able to fill him in on the happenings of the city as of late. And hopefully he wouldn’t have to run into anything really aggressive. Though for now, there was just nothing around.
This soon changed within a few minutes.
Hearing a few voices off to the side, Blade turned and slowly made his way towards the source. Moments later, a few shouts were heard before a bloodcurdling scream rang through the streets, freezing the man in his tracks. Now mixed in with the shouting, was a loud grunt, belonging to some deep-voiced pokemon. Unsure of what to do exactly, Blade placed a hand near the hilt of his sword before listening more to whatever was going on. As he stood there, he managed to pick out a peculiar voice amongst the ones that were yelling frantically. And there was no doubt that this voice happened to be the one that belonged to the guy that had asked him to come to the city.
Now without much hesitation, he went on towards all of the sounds and eventually saw four people cowering away from a strangely colored Blastoise, as well as a fifth person on the ground who seemed to be laying quite still. Taking in the scene quickly, he moved closer until one of the four remaining people spotted him.
”B-Blade! You finally made it!” he shouted before barely dodging a jet of water fired by the angry-looking pokemon, ”GAH! Help me out here and I’ll say we’re even!”
The water hit the trash can behind the terrified teen and effectively left a decent sized dent into its side. For something that was just a simple water gun attack, that was pretty powerful.
Staring at the damage for a moment, Blade gritted his teeth as he didn’t know how he was supposed to help at all with this problem. Aside from the type-issue, his own pokemon were too inexperienced to do anything other than be completely obliterated by this Blastoise. With that in mind, he would rather not get them seriously injured or killed by sending them out against something they have no chance against.
Well I don’t have much more of a chance by myself either really… he thought a bit bitterly before moving a little closer to the red and black water pokemon and eyed the one person on the ground. He or she hadn’t moved at all since he first saw them.
“Hey!” he called out, “Leave them alone; you’ve already done enough now.”
Hearing the voice of the newcomer, Blood Vain glanced behind him. It seemed that another human had come along to try and confront him, but he wasn’t about to let his entertainment be spoiled. It was quite fun to terrorize these people to show off his power after all. And he wasn’t about to let all of Wizzrobe’s pokemon show him up with their destructive abilities. The Blastoise turned towards the new human a little more directly, wondering how badly he could both horrify and injure the man. If he was lucky, maybe this person will end up like the one on the ground, who had frozen with fear before passing out from his attack.
”Bla…”
Charging forward, the pokemon turned his body before reaching the man in an attempt to slam into him with his aqua tail attack. And well, Blade wasn’t about to stand still and let himself get pummeled into the ground by a 190 pound pokemon, so he quickly jumped back and avoided the blow. With the darkness in the area, and the dark coloration of the pokemon, it was a little hard to see what it was doing all the time, but thankfully Blade was somewhat used to moving around in darkened regions.
When his feet touched the ground again, he felt cracks in the street that weren’t there before. Taking a hit from this Blastoise really would not go well for him, which also made the issue of how to get this pokemon to calm down a little more difficult. One way, he figured, was to just try and get it to exhaust itself. And hopefully his own stamina wouldn’t die down before the pokemon’s did. Perhaps if he angered it more, he could get it to use up more of its energy.
So letting out a small breath, Blade prepared himself to begin evading what he can as well as trying to conserve as much energy as possible. As he stared at the Blastoise, he noticed some faint movements out of the corner of his eyes. Most likely it was just some of the others fleeing from the area. That was fine and all, though it meant that he would mean that if he messed up somewhere, they wouldn’t be able to back him up at all.
The Blastoise, a bit annoyed with his missed attack, lowered his head a bit before letting out a low grunt. It seemed that this human didn’t appear too intimidated by his aggressiveness, but he was sure that would change soon enough. Then a moment later, he rammed forward with his skull bash attack, in an attempt to crush some of the standing human’s bones. But to his dismay, he didn’t feel anything come into contact with his skull this time. Grumbling at this, he glanced up to see that the man had moved back again. Well if he was going to keep his distance than all he needed to do was attack from a distance as well.
“Come on, is that all you got? Even a Slowpoke would be able to dodge that,” taunted Blade as he kept his eyes locked onto the pokemon, watching its movements to try and get a clue as to what it was going to do next. Sometime during all of this, he was going to need to figure out a way to hurt it somewhat to try and slow it down more. There was the option of using both Chimchar and Torchic, but he’d rather keep them away for now. There were also his own weapons, but he didn’t necessarily like the idea of using a weapon against the pokemon. Then again, he’d probably get hurt pretty badly himself if he didn’t use any.
When he saw Blood Vain begin to move, he got ready to get out of the way quick. It didn’t seem to be coming towards him at all so it probably was going to use some ranged attack. And sure enough, the Blastoise used water pulse, sending out a blast of water rushing towards him. Quickly moving to the side, Blade felt some droplets of water smack against his skin as it rushed past him and through a glass window from the building behind.
Hissing from feeling several shards of glass graze against his arm and face, the thief gritted his teeth before staring back at it again before diving to the side as the Blastoise attempted another skull bash, effectively slamming his head into the brick wall next to the broken window.
Stunned from the impact momentarily, Blood Vain staggered back before shaking his head and looking down where the human had dove off. However, just as he did so, he felt a small sharp pain in the back of his leg where the man had just struck him with a dagger. Feeling more and more irritated with this human, he quickly tried to bring his tail down hard onto the man but only struck the concrete streets once more.
Having just rolled away in time, Blade slowly rose to his feet and took a moment to catch his breath. This definitely wasn’t going as how he had planned, as he felt that he was losing energy considerably quicker than the Blastoise. And sooner or later, that would mean taking a hit from the angry pokemon. Now would be a good time to switch up his strategy a bit, since fighting head on or constant evasion would get him nowhere. If his new plan worked out, then the pokemon’s strength would slowly be whittled down to the point where he could probably capture it.
Why don’t I just run though? The others are all gone now… there’s not really any point for me to keep this up…
As he drew out his sword, the answer came to him. Aside from the prospect of possibly gaining a strong pokemon on his team, there was a decent chance that this Blastoise had attacked the others without warning or provocation, considering the way it had acted towards himself. Leaving something so hostile on its own probably wouldn’t be too good of an idea.
“Let’s see if you’re as fast as you are powerful... Come on, try and catch me.”
Smirking slightly, the man turned about and quickly began to run off to some location he thought would benefit him more in terms of this fight. Blood Vain, having no other target to go after in the area, took pursuit with little to no hesitation. He was fairly determined to make this human pay for playing around with him, so as he chased the man, he began to attack with water gun and water pulse repeatedly. Most of them missed the running target, but on managed to hit the human in the back of his right shoulder.
“Ugh!” grunted Blade as the blast of water made him tumbled forward onto the ground. Wincing a bit as the impact of the water stung considerably, he got up onto his feet as quickly as he could and continued to flee into one of the smaller alleys.
It took him a little longer, but the Blastoise entered the alley that the human had retreated into. The alleyway was a little cramped for him, but at least it meant that he would have the human cornered now as there was a dead end on the other side. Slowly, he made his way deeper into the alley, looking for where the man might be hiding. At first glance, there were no signs of the guy, but he had to be there somewhere. What a pathetic man, to call him out like that and then to run off and hide.
Then, hearing something hit the ground lightly behind him, he turned around, slowly due to the tightness in the alley. To his surprise, he saw a glint of light before feeling a sharp pain run across his face. Blade had used one of the dumpsters earlier to help him reach the fire escape of on the buildings earlier where he took a moment to catch his breath, as well as to nurse his sore shoulder a bit. That wasn’t all that he had set up for this ambush. Right as the Blastoise began to recover from the attack and begin to retaliate with his own, a cry rang out from above before something very light landed on its head.
”TORCHIC!! Take this!” shouted Fou Gai before pecking furiously at Blood Vain’s head.
Each peck did very little damage and was fairly annoying over all, but it was all slowly building up. Shaking angrily, the Blastoise managed to make the bird fall off of his head, and proceeded to do an aqua tail attack onto the low leveled fire type.
“Return!”
And thus Fou Gai returned into his pokeball, safe from harm. After putting the ball back to its spot at his waist, Blade moved forward to try and cut the pokemon’s leg to slow it down even further. His sword managed to deliver a decent cut through Blastoise’s thick hide, but this also put its wielder very close to it. So before he knew it, he found himself flying backwards from taking a direct water pulse attack to the chest, knocking the wind out of his body.
Groaning as he rolled a bit on the concrete as he landed, Blade coughed and weezed as he tried to get his breath back. All the while, Blood Vain slowly limped closer to deliver what would be the finishing blow to the human. He had been pestered long enough, though the man did put up a decent fight. Once he reached the human, he stared down at him while deciding how he should end this. As he did this, something small scampered up his shell and began to scratch at him, much like the Torchic did a few moments ago.
Only now it was a Chimchar, and one that was a little stronger than the previous fire type. And this time, when the water type attempted to shake it off, he had a much harder time considering Gouku’s firm grip onto his shell.
Using this time to help him recover, the thief slowly rose to his feet while rubbing his chest and doubling over somewhat. He really wasn’t sure how much longer he could last like this, so hopefully this will all end very soon. Raising his weapon again, he brought it down onto the Blastoise’s leg deeply once more to damage it a little further before striking quickly a second time. And it was then that Gouku finally fell off of Blood Vain, where his trainer promptly recalled him as well.
Now feeling fairly weary from having to deal with all of this, the black and red pokemon limped towards the human. The man might be a little faster, but he was certain that if he could just hit him one more time, this would all be done with. He just had to make sure his next few attacks really counted.
“You know… it’d be pretty nice if you had a master… you’ve got a lot of power there. If you had someone to train you… you could be a whole lot stronger… So what do you say that we drop this fight and join me?”
Grumbling a bit, Blood Vain continued to approach the human. While he did want to become stronger, he doubted that this human would be able to do anything for him. And right now, he just wanted to pound him into the ground for hurting him as much that he did. But maybe, just maybe, the guy would be worthy. So to give his answer, he attacked the man once more with water gun before quickly preparing for his next attack.
During the time the water type pokemon had been approaching him, Blade had remained in his position. It wasn’t until he saw water rushing quickly towards him that he moved off to the side to narrowly avoid the attack. As he did, he took out a certain item in preparation to use it, but to his surprise, he saw Blastoise coming right at him with another attack. As quickly as he could, he tried to move out of the way, throwing the pokeball at the same time to try and stop it before he was hit. However, both actions were a little too slow, for Blood Vain’s skull bash attack came slamming into a part of his left rib cage just as the ball hit the pokemon.
Gasping as he could have sworn he heard something snap, Blade flew back somewhat against the wall of a building before slumping down. He clutched at his ribs as he nearly blacked out from the pain alone. Weakly, he glanced up to see what had become of the Blastoise only to see a pokeball where it had been standing a few moments ago. It still rocked gently from the pokemon within attempting to break free. Shuddering a bit, he let his head droop down to rest.
He still didn’t know why that guy had called him in the first place…

After the chaos in Yamiyo, I ended up wandering over to the neighboring city, Paramount. Seemed nice enough if it weren't for the flood of trainers escaping Yamiyo for medical help. It's too bad that the nearest hospital ended up being something a little more...
I saw Riyo again, and apparently she had been injured pretty badly recently. And from the looks of how she was acting when I saw her in the hospital, she was trying to escape; and she wasn't the only one. A girl with a white tail and some ears seemed to be fleeing as well, but from an Arcanine. I ended up having to bring out th Blastoise I managed to catch in the other city...
That wasn't the only trouble around though...
A little after a third trainer came by, some men came running in speaking about capturing the others, as well as their pokemon. It was no other than Team Rocket of course...
I got the Blastoise to work with me, but despite my efforts they still ended up succeeding... I have all my pokemon for whatever reason, and I now have a TM, Ice beam, who I'm going to have Blastoise learn...
Right now there isn't anything I can do, being all banged up and stuff. But... once I get out of that hospital, I need to try and get them away from Rocket... as well as anyone else they might have been taken by them. I'm not really sure how I'll do it yet, but I have some time to figure things out.
What's weird though... is that I could have sworn something happened during the fight with them. I think I might have set my sword on fire somehow briefly... or was that just my imagination? If it wasn't... could it happen again?
In any case, I need to do something about all of this. Thieves aren't meant to be heros, but whatever. I just hope I won't be the only one to tackle them...

There's good and bad news. The good news is that I managed to find Riyo, Poke, and Inu. The bad news is that... they're still in Team Rocket's hands... and so am I now.
It started off all right, just relaxing at a local carnival. But then Team Rocket had to turn everything upside down, using the girls as a part of their plan. Riyo... she had this weird thing in her gut that can control her some how. And the damn thing nearly got the both of us killed. That's how I ended up being one of the prisoners now, along with a dark trainer, Kesmi.
All of this was just a part of some master plan by Francis as well. He's the one responsible for capturing the girls. He's the one responsible for putting that thing in Riyo.
I have no idea what he's planning for us, or for the pokemon he took. Whatever it is, I'll find a way to make him pay for all of this. But first I'm just going to need to bide my time...

I'm not entirely sure what they were planning with this sort of thing, but Team Rocket pit us all into a giant arena... against a lot of angry Pokemon who were out for our blood. It was not a pretty sight, that's for sure. I'm pretty sure a decent number of Pokemon ended up dying in that battle, but luckily the others and I managed to survive.
During it Blood Vain was being himself with his own attempts to end my life, but I did manage to get him to side with me for the time being. Hopefully this is a small step for him to be more of a partner in battle rather than something that'll take any chance to kill me off.
But.. the main reason we survived was because things were cut short. It turned out the base was being raided. And man, never before was I glad to see Officer Jenny bursting into a place to take people down. A lot of the rocket grunts were arrested, but the two heads managed to get away in all the chaos unfortunately.
I'm still pretty banged up right now from being in that warzone of an arena, but I'm keeping my eyes out for anything that seems like it's a part of Team Rocket. With Francis and Francene out there still... it's only a matter of time before they return. I don't know if they'd have any interest in me at this point but the others probably are still within their sights.
For now, I've lost track of where everyone went, but hopefully they're doing fine. And now, I need to heal up, and get ready. What those two did to Riyo and others in general is unforgivable, so the next time I see them I want to be able to make sure they'll pay.
