My friend betrayed me.
She told everyone about what happened last Saturday.
Essentially, this is what happened:
I met up with her boyfriend's friend.
We had sex in the back of his car.
Everybody in the rink found out in a matter of minutes.
As soon as I came in, I had more guys leering at me. >_>
Anyways. Apparently, I was the most talked about girl in another friend's history class. For 1 1/2 hours, all they could talk about was how much of a slut I was.
I had a few guys praise me [Nice going Shay -highfive-].
But the person I thought was my friend is the one blabbing all the information. I have people coming up to me asking [explicitly] if x, y, and z happened. Everything word to word that I told my friend; I only told one friend the full details.
When I confronted her, she denied it.
I'm milking off the attention right now at school. I'm laughing, and going along with it. But I don't need all this harrassment right now. Honestly.

Sorry, I'm really hyper and listening to "This Is Halloween" but anyway! ^^'
If she denied telling others those things, and the people who are asking you about it use detailed questions that only your friend could've known, then I say....
SCREW THEM ALL.

What you do is none of their business! They shouldn't be calling you a slut when they very well could be. twisted
Anyways, even though they are being total assholes by talking behind your back about it, maybe next time you have sex it should be in a room ^^'
And don't worry about them, they're so sick of their measley pathetic lives that they're just DYING to talk about SOMEBODY. It just happened to be you sweatdrop
And also- If you know (key word: know) that your friend did it, then you should stop talking to her maybe for awhile. Or just keep confronting her until she cracks mrgreen

P.S.- I like how you handled it. By not walking up to someone and smacking them across the face (which I would've done ^^'), you've shown to them that they don't affect you and your better than to stoop to their level. WAY TO GO!

I suggest not informing your friend from now on. She's seems like a...nasty piece of work.
Just blow people off with comments. "Wouldn't you like to know", "If you say so,".
Or just use the shaming tactic.
Loudly, "Why would you say something like that? What would make a person say something that lude and degrading?"
People will always label you. Take into consideration they all (including your friend) might be jealous.

Simply having sex doesn't make you a slut hun, dont worry. Go along like your doing or lie about it. but get rid of that B*tchy @$$ little friend of yours. and maybe next time...dont be quite so open about the details sorry about all that happening to you.

when friends betray, it's the WORST.
my best friend had drunken sex with the guy i've liked for over a year... yeah, betrayal sucks.

Has she ever attained that level of commitment to her loves? This may explain why is she making such a huge event when you want it to be confidential.

I haven't talked to her in almost three months.
Right after the incident, I stopped being friends withher.
I finally got her to admit that she told one of her friends, who helped to spread it around school.
It's all blown over, luckilly. <3

To be honest that happens alot, and it's deffinatly nothing new. In future remember that your private life is your business, who you're sleeping with and what you do while sleeping with them should really be between you and that person confused But I don't think you'll be rushing to tell friends about your future activities.
