*squeal* I just saw this movie today and I'm gonna see it again tomorrow with Aki Yasu, and it's bloody awesome >3< Really long, but rich in actiony goodness ^^ w00t for pirate fighting scenes!
Who's seen it yet?? Oh, and if you have spoilers, please be nice and cleverly hide them using the white color option^^ Gyah! I love it!

It might have been long, but it definately wasn't boring. ^^ - I love the part where Davy Jones is standing on the sand bar looking all serious and then they show him in his bucket. whee It was priceless. -

I love the fact that the creators stay consistent in how great the movies are. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin
And, as always, Johnny Depp is one of the funniest people on the planet.
I do, however, want to know what happens to Tia Dhalma, now...they kind of forgot about her... confused
...Furthermore...the ship is walking away while you're fighting over the minerals, people...may want to do something about that...

Yeah, Tia Dhalma turned out to be Calypso, and when she was released from the curse, she grew and burst into crab-rocks. But from what I understood, she was a being who liked to cause pain and suffering, yet she just disappeared...as far as I saw anyway... ninja
Question number two: Why do people leave before the credits?!?!
There was a whole clip afterwards that only us and two other people stuck around long enough to see!!

Aye, she did turn into the crabs, but then she returned to the sea, and after that caused the huge storm that occured with the battle. Then, when Davy Jones was killed, she did settle down, I see that as having them both reunited in their pure forms...or something Cause once he died, the storm disappeared, so I think they were reunited and Davy was freed from his sins and able to be with his lover Calypso again....--
I actually thought it was cute when it was the guy with the wooden eye that set her free like that >W< I dunno, it was just cute... *shrugs*
And I don't know...that's a good question, there's always something at the end. But the first time I saw it, my boyfriend kept saying it wasn't worth sitting through all the credits just to see the kid...Reluctant though I was, I settled and decided I'd stay the next day when I went with Aki Yasu...

I think it was worth sitting through the credits. That kid was adorable! 4laugh
-The only thing that kinda irked me about the show was making Elizabeth "Pirate King" or "Queen" in this case. Sure, it was cool when she became the Captain in Sao's place, but making her Pirate King not long afterwards...? Personally I thought it was too much, too soon, but given the circumstances I suppose it's understandable; a bit too much, but understandable. - Don't get me wrong though, I think Elizabeth is an awesome character.

Davey Jones is killed, Will takes his place as the 'crossing guard' to take souls of the dead at sea to the afterlife, but he only has to do the job during the day, so he and Elizabeth still see each other half the time - it shows ten years in the future after credits and they have a kid.
