It is good advice, it's just a matter of people stop whinnig about how things suck and think about what they will be worth time from now.
I remember when halos were 56k, yes 56,000 gold each when they were first relased. 5 years latter they are over 360 million.

Buying right at the start of the month isn't a great idea, they usually decline right up until *generally* the 10th-13th, buying between about the 5th and then is the best bet.
Plus you shouldn't go by a set amount, it's not a good idea, specifically "At this point start putting letters in your shop for 15k, 16k and 17k.", it's a bit vague and the price you should sell at should be relative to the then value of the letters, not a certain set amount 3nodding

10k for a single letter is the minimum for a decient profit any more and you don't gain as much. Selling and item at 15, 16 and 17k gives you an idea of it's current market value. Never sell for anything less the 15k to get your money back.
I actually pride my self and have earned the respect of MANY exchangers/vendor becuase I was a nobody that came out of no where and put everyone to shame when it came to making quick gold.
As I also stated this is what I do and if you choose to do it good for you.
Lets do the math!
100 Letters = 10k each in turn means for 1,000,000 gold.
100 Letters = 15k each re sell in turn means for 1,500,000 gold.
An easy 500k profit.
That's a good profit margin for buying and selling prices. You earn your money back and then some, if you do this every month you in turn build up your profit and eventually not out a single gold, you recycle your gold. A good constant steady cash flow.
Letters lately havent gotten much higher then 17.5k when they are realsed and drop fast insted of growing in value when they come out. They hit their peak after 3 days and loose thier lack luster after a week.
100 Letters = 17k each re sell in turn means for 1,700,000 gold.
