Seraphim walked down from his mountain cave, he needed to find new play toys. It just so happened that it was a glum rainy day. Just the kind that he liked.

Eiaera rather enjoyed the rainy days too, because rain was good for the flowers and trees and stuff. Plus, she didn't mind getting a little wet-- it was fun to play in the puddles and all that! So she was outside, hopping in them and getting particularly muddy-- so muddy, in fact, one might mistake her for a blue and brown pae'il, rather than simply a blue one.

He simply ignored the pae splashing in the puddles, that is until she splashed him with the mud. He didn't like getting wet or dirty. "What were you thinking?" He demanded. This demon had already gotten on his bad side by just being there, and was making it worse by staying in his sight.

She blinked, looking over at the other pae,
"Eh?" she asked, stepping out of the puddle she'd just jumped in and looking for another likely suspect.

Phim shook his head, clenching his fists. "You arrogant bugger!" He screamed at her, a vein in his forhead popping. He would have said something worse, but at the moment he couldn't think of anything.

He was yelling her, but she didn't know why nor understand what he was saying, so she just looked at him, sticking her (muddy) thumb in her mouth,
"What's the matter with you?" she asked, mud dripping about her ankles and into the grass as she continued to scout for another likely puddle.

Why she was still talking to him he had no idea, but he would be the bigger pae and walk away. The last time he had taken a nice pae for a play toy she had twisted him too much. And that was not acceptable, he was just on the search for a good play thing. And possibly a few underlings.

She shrugged, spotted another large puddle, and jumped into it-- splashing mud all over the place.
Giggling, she removed her thumb and waved her arms in the air happily, jumping from that puddle into a smaller one next to it. "Wheee!"

Yet another splash. He hated getting dirty, and he hated other pae even more! "Why won't you stop that?!" Phim demanded. She was working on his nerves, and was getting more angry at her every passing second.

"It's fun!" she countered, not understanding his grumpy attitude. How could one be in a bad mood when there were puddles to be jumped in?

Phim shook his head, a fist still clenched so tight a normal pae would be bleeding from it. "Jumping in puddles is not fun, it's pathetic and childish. You don't know the meaning of fun."

Well, really, what did he expect? She -was- a child afterall. Besides, life was a lot easier if you could take pleasure in such little things,
"Isn't the rain fun, though? It'll wash off the mud, if you don't like getting dirty."

Phim sighed, she did not know the meaning of the word fun. "Fun is not splashing in mud puddles, fun is driving a spike in someones hand and hearing them scream. That is what fun is, not childish things like mud puddles." He stated flatly. The rain that had started again was even worse, he was getting wet from something that wasn't cold and frozen.

She didn't think driving a spike in someone's hand sounded very fun, really, but then, she'd never tried it, so how would she know? Besides, she wasn't sure what a spike -was-.

"Yes I have tried it, and it is not very much fun." He said, wondering why she wouldn't leave him alone. "A poisoned steel spike through a nice little pae's hand. That is fun, and that is what you need to try."
