Kiefer reared, pawing at the air. He felt like a silly colt right now, but the stallion was stir-crazy. It had been raining for quite some time, and now that the sun finally shone, he wanted to get out and do something. The stallion wasn't fond of the rain, it made everything slippery and misruble, as well as it putting a general damper on what seemed to be everything.
It seemed as if there were quite a few interesting soquili around these parts, from one he met with huge, curling horns, to another with human clothes and hair. He felt a bit plain amongst it all, but the stallion never thought too much off it. If they wanted to look down on him for being a normal soquili, so be it. It wasn't his problum.
What to do, though, what to do? The reckless stallion was in quite a mood, he wanted to do something fun, something dangerous. But what? The world seemed so boring. It used to be one big adventure every time he managed to get out when he was a colt, but now it just seemed like everything was overdone and uninteresting.

Zhenga as usual was exploring the lands that she hadn't touched today. She had taken to flying a bit, though walking seemed to be a bit more enjoyble. At least you could see things better.
The warm gusts of air drug her higher into the air before she folded her wings in a bit to let her body slowly glide lower. It was almost like a game she played with the wind.
But soon she grew tired of this game and slowly descended in a circular descent to the ground. Her hooves touching lightly to the ground as her black wings fluttered, scattering a few black feathers here and there. Now she was planted firmly on the ground. Silver eyes moved back and forth across the scenary as she gave her slender tail a few quick flicks back and forth.
With a small nicker, she set off in a trot. Knees held high as she moved off to explore. It was such a nice day today.

Kiefer looked up into the sky. What was that? A bird, perhaps? He squinted, looking closer. No, it wasn't a bird, it was a mare! He had seen soquili with wings before, but never accually seen one in flight. How odd it looked, the sky, to him, always seemed like it should be reserved for the bird.
The stallion trotted over to where she had landed, not far away. Perhaps she knew what was interesting around her? Not wanting to startle her, the stallion made sure to make lots of noise on his way there. He had learned that just bursting out of somewhere wasn't exaclty the kindest thing to do to someone.
He came out of the grass, and saw the mare. She had a funny tail, wings, and a horn sticking directly out of her forhead. He had seen theses features before, but never in combination. How peculiar!
"Hey...I'm Kiefer" he said, giving her a friendly smile. Having just come out of the bushes, he didn't want her to think he was just going to stand there and stare, because from there things often got quite akward.

She stopped in her tracks, head whipping around making her braids smack against the side of her head and neck. One flopped over her nose which she quickly flicked back into place. The fluffy end of her tail wiggled curiously as she eyed the stallion.
"Hello Kiefer." By now she had turned her body half way so that it was easier to look at him. Her ears turned this way and that as she listened to the sounds around her. "I am Zhenga."

"Hello Zhenga. Nice to meet you. Erm...Sorry for just kind of showing up like that. I saw you landing, and I was bored, so I figured you might know something interesting to do." he said, flipping his loose hairs out of his eyes.
The mare also had interesting marks, vaugly similar to another mare that he had met once. Of course, the other was quite insane, thinking she used to be a lion or some sort. Of course, looking at this mare, she did have a good deal of lion like features, from the nose and wiskers to the tail. Did all spotted soquili think themselves lions? Ah, probubly not. He was probubly just thinking too much.
"So, yea. Know of anything interesting to do?" he asked, hoping she did. If the stallion was stuck bored out of his mind all day, there was a good chance that he would go insane himself.

The mare nibbled on her bottom lip in thought for a moment. "Something...interesting to do? There's always something interesting to do around here. All you need is a bit of an imagination."
She gave a small grin and a wriggle of her black nose. Zhenga had a wild imagination of her own, when she wanted to use it. Should could of suggested flying, but...this stallion had no wings. Come to think of it, the few Soquili she had met never had wings. Was she the only one? Nah. Couldn't be. Could it? Huh.

Kiefer smiled "Well that is good." he said, thinking for a moment. Did he have a bit of imagination? No, not really. Well, he did, but it seemed all used up after such a long time of not using it. No since he was a colt...imagination seemed like such a foal thing.
"Well, I havn't got much of an imagination" he said jokingly. "Do you have any ideas? I am all out" he said flicking his tail back and forth. He blinked, her mannerisms seemed not entirly unlike Bae's, his father's lion familiar. Then again, he wouldn't have noticed such things unless he was already in a mind set.
"I like your braids, they remind me of my sister" he said, feeling like the conversation was getting a bit akward, with the pauses and such. It was a rather pathetic attempt at making conversation, but there it was. He did like her braids though, it was interesting to see them with her dual colored hair, not entirly unlike his own, save the colors. Both his sisters had hair that was unlike both his parents, Attie's being braided, and Tahlia's being curly. He got the medium length short hair, just like his father and mother.

Zhenga pranced a bit in place as she let out a short giggle. "Doesn't matter how much imagination ya got. It just depends on how ya use it." She did a little circle around him, giving him a good look over as her silver eyes danced. "There's always...tag. And ummm...lets see. Treasure hunting! Oh oh! I like jumping into piles of fallen leaves sometimes. Or just nice walks along the river. Or running through the river making all the tiiiny little fish dash away."
Her mind was going a mile a minute now. But then she stopped when we complimented her braids. "Thanks. They tend to get in the way sometimes, though. You're hair is pretty interesting. I've seen a few Soquili with some strange hair and sometimes wonder if they were picked on as foals with that kind of hair." Another giggle escaped before she hid her muzzle underneath a wing. "That was kind of a mean thought though. It's not nice to pick on others."

Kiefer blinked, wow. This mare had a LOT of energy, she was almost like a foal. Maybe she was a young adult? Then again, he had met plenty of soquili quite older then himself taht didn't have any problum acting fun and kyper. His grandmother was one of them, although he hadn't met her in the longest time. Since he was a foal, infact.
"Oh, well I supose I don't use mine very well" he said, smiling and chuckling a bit, but not outloud, or because he found her stupid. No, he just found it all a bit amusing, and a bit unexpected. He suggestions were all things that he hadn't heard of since he was a foal. Tag? Treasure hunting?
"We can do whatever you want to do" he said, decided that he wasn't sure how he could possibly have fun doing those things. The stallion simply couldn't picture himself romping around in the river.
"Ah, well, they are probubly a bit better then mine. Mine is just long enough to fall in my face, and I can't ever get it to stay put" he said, flicking his head a bit to get his hair out of his eyes. "Yea, there is quite a bit diversity among hair around here. I don't think they would get picked on. I certanly, as a foal, would have just thought it to be really cool"
