Light snow rains down from the sky as gray clouds and fog curtain the sky above. Small patched of vegetation can be uncovered from the snow that blankets the rocky terrain. The higher one travels the thinner the air gets and the harder it is the travel.

Loose rocks tend to fall from above so one must be careful not to make a wrong move and watch were he/she steps. Wind can also be a problem as one continues upward. What may be a light breeze one minute can turn in to hurricane like winds the next.

The weather gets colder by the minute as the tops of the mountain comes ever so closer.

One must be careful with each passing minute , maybe second, for light snows don’t last forever. Avalanches and snow storms are unpredictable.
