This Roleplay is different from the rest.....
How, you may ask?
Let us first start with the beginning.....
Once, there was a creature named Zim, an Irken defect who's entire mission had been a lie.
Well, one day, after 6 years of living on the planet (So both he and Dib are in Highschool), his leaders, the Almighty Tallests, told him it was fake...everything, was fake.
Zim, more than not, was enraged beyond belief...His irken blood boiled, his eyes flamed with rage...
Whether or not it was a mission, he had to decimate this mud-ball called Earth, it taunted him with it's prescence...it fueled that feeling of anger.
He created a 'fool-proof' plan....one to eliminate everything in the world with the help of a small, but lethal bomb that would drill through the Earth's crust and into it's core, where it would explode and kill off anything living on earth.
Of course, he wanted to see the fear on humans' faces by being dramatic and showing off the thing before he activated it. Of course, Dib's there to stop him...but what happens when the bomb malfunctions?
----------------------
Yeah....spooky and insane Zimmy...
Okay, Rules of Doom:
1. Be literate or up, please.
2.Try to make replies more than one sentence.
3. No godmoding, powerplaying, and no made-ups. Sowwy.
4. If a character's already taken, then you'll have to choose a different character.
5.And If there's a name beside a character's name that's italized, then that means they are temporary holders of the character. Ask for them and you may have them. 3nodding
Okay, rules are done and over with...as well as the plot. Character time!
(ex)Invader Zim: Tulia Kiara Adrienne
Dib: LeAnn Elric
Tak: (We can figure out someway to put her in here, I think, She's optional.)
Gaz biggrin ibbeh_Candy_Cane
Professor Membrane: (Optional.)
Give me more characters here people. Just no made-up ones...Maybe the Tallests? I dunno...
We'll start when we have everyone that's not optional...

Fake.
The mission was fake...
It was all fake.
My tallests lied to me....
How dare they lie to ME, ZIM!
How dare they think I would waste my life on this PITIFUL planet like the human-stink! I WILL NOT!
Crimson eyes looked out the window of the base. Three digit gloved claws dug into the window-sill as the gaze of the creature scanned the outside world. The sky was changing from light blue to the dark of night with the aid of the lowering orb that was the sun. When it was 12:00 am...precisely...'Zim', as the creature called itself, was to set off his most prized creation....the bomb, as he looked at it, that would be the end of humanity. Originally created for the mission, he had been perfecting it for years. Then, came the news the Tallests gave...the mission was fake.
That made the creature's foreign blood boil in rage. Damn Tallests...with the lost of his technology, and his 'mission', he lost his respect for them. He didn't care about his race anymore...he didn't care about his home planet...he just didn't care. "Master, are you still sad?" A high-pitched voice questioned as a small head poked out from the doorframe to the kitchen, light blue eyes looking at his 'Master'. Crimson orbs looked over their owner's shoulder at the petite being. "Yes, Gir. I am still sad." The taller figure answered.
"Aw...you shouldn't be sad, master....you get to make everything a'splode soon." Pale green lips twisted into a slight grin. Over the years, his robot, Gir, had lost his randomness and grown a little more sanity, and intellegence...he still, however, had his moments. "I suppose you are right, Gir. I should be a little more cheerful, shouldn't I?" The little metallic thing walked out from hiding and nodded, as it hoisted itself onto the windowsill and looked at it's master. "Yep. You look happier already." It smiled, and Zim had to give a soft chuckle. "Thank you Gir." he whispered, returning his gaze to look out the window while one hand patted Gir's head. "Soon, this planet will be nothing...the filthy humans will die in abseloute pain.."
"But Master...won't we die too?" The robot tilted it's head to the side. "Yes, Gir...we will..." "Aw, but I dun wanna a'splode..." "I know, Gir..." Zim sighed softly, dusting off his dark clothing. Zim had grown, to be 6'0 by now, and thus, his clothing had to be changed to keep up with the growing Irken. He was clad in osidian colored clothing, keeping to the colors of the shadows he now inhabited, his base lacking the usual lighting that it once had. For years, it seemed he had gone silent with his plans of world domination...his fights with the Dib-Human lessened...his attempts at taking over the earth waned.
The Dib-human...in a way, he would miss the earthling....so many times he escaped death...so many times he was a worthy adversary. Zim shook his head...
Do not think of Dib, Zim...Do not remember him...Do not think of Dib, and you will not have second thoughts of the end of this STINKING planet!

((Meh. I'll try to kind of understand where we're at right now. I'm not really sure how the relationship has been between Dib and Zim untill now, so I'll just make it kind of... yeah.))
Off down the street from the green house that the alien was standing in, there was another, more normal house. In this house lived the boy being mentioned. In this house lived the only one who seemed to want to save the Earth. In this house, the boy who had devoted his whole life to chasing the alien named Zim lived. Who was this boy exactlly?
Dib.
The mighty protecter of the Earth, was Dib. The blue eyed teen had overcom many an adventure in his years of living. Many an adventure indeed. Though currently he wasn't doing much. He had been working on a new idea to defeat the alien, Zim, once and for all. But, around ten or so, he'd become too tired and had fallen into a small snooze. The protecter of our planet, Dib, was sleeping with his face on a keyboard.
Though, around midnight, his slumber was interupted. He'd been having a small nightmare and then end had started him awake. "Waz'um?" he mumbled, blinking a bit. Long fingers came up to rub at his eyes under his glasses, a yawn escaping his lips. His black hair was unbrushed and a bit greasy from not leaving his room for the past couple days. His long scythe hair-lock still jetted out from the top of his skull; no gell needed. His black, short-sleeved shirt with the stick figure on the front was the same clothing he'd worn for his days in confindment. His black jeans were the same as well.
The blue eyed boy let his gaze fall on the computer screen in front of him, scanning what he'd been doing before falling asleep. "Damn..." he grumbled, leaning back against his wheely chair. "I must've dozed of there." The teen gave a small scratch to his hair. The boy hadn't actually gotten that much sleep for the past few days, so you couldn't blame him. He gave a small sniff of the air, making a face right after. "I need a shower..." He shook his head, standing and picking up some random clothes. With that, he headed to the bathroom, giving no look to any clock as to see why it was so dark.

(It's not a huge rivalry like they used to have, but every once in awhile Zim still came up with stuff...so their relationship is dimmed down rivalry, basically.)
The green figure looked outside a little longer before he slipped away from the window and down into the hidden underground area of his base, Gir following behind him. Dim lights flashed as the little elevator like pad descended into the depths of the lab, and Zim crept out into the open laboratory. He walked past experiment rooms until sharply stopping, turning and entering a particular room.
"Oooh...." Gir awed at the sight of the bomb...it was small, at waist-height of the green figure, but had the capability to annihilate the earth if it was introduced to extreme heat, such as the core of the planet. Three thin gloved fingers gently slipped over the tip of it, which was a drill of non-earth metal. A small screen came out from Zim's pak, counting down till 12 am. "Only 30 minutes left, Gir." he said, a vile smirk coming upon his face.
"Whoo-hoo!" Gir exclaimed, running around happily. "We're all gonna die!" "Yes....yes we are...." Zim murmured, his antennae lowering a little while he shook his head. When Gir bumped into the explosive item, Zim quickly managed to grab it before it hit the floor. "Now, settle down, Gir. I would rather not have this thing explode in my base!" Almost immediately the robot stopped, though Zim was unaware at the time that Gir had knocked loose a few key components that made the bomb stable when he hit it....Zim placed it in it's clamp, not thinking to double check it as it was risen up and into the living room of the house, awaiting it's time to be released.

((Ah, ok... Neh XP))
As the water started up, the teen started to undress himself. His tall figure, standing at 6'1, (had to make him a little taller. XP) stepped into the hot water after he was fully deprived of clothing. The boy stared at the wall a moment before closing his blue eyes completely. He let out a sigh, his mind going blank as the scolding hot water washed away all his aches from the past few days. Normally the boy took a shower every morning. But, with school giving a special three-day weekend, he just had to take advantage and work on his plans. Only now, in the middle of the night, he was taking a break for once. He had school in about seven hours.
Yay.
The boy was a little discouraged his weekend had seemed to slip by so fast. He'd barely made any progress, which had him mentally dying. After all the work he'd put into the stupid idea, nothing seemed to be working out right. "Damn," he mumbled, peeking out of one of his eyes. The teen then sighed, reaching out to pick up the shampoo; he couldn't just stand there for the whole shower. As the boy lathered up his hair, his mind wandered. Eventually, it fell on the bug-eyed green boy down the street. He hadn'y seen or heard from Zim for the past three days.
"What's he up to?" Dib asked himself, starting to wash the sudds from his hair. Really, the boy couldn't help but wonder. He gave a light shrug, turning off the water. "Why not find out?" he mumbled, shaking his hair to get some of the water out. He then exited the shower, picking up his boxers and pants. He slipped those on, realizing he'd fogotten to bring a shirt. The boy paid no real mind to it, stepping out of the bathroom. He walked back to his room, heading for the window. "I can see his house just fine from the roof."
It was true. Many a time the boy had used his house to look out on whatever the other was doing. Just, this time, he wouldn't really be able to see it that good. The boy opened his window, jumping out and swinging up so he landed on his roof. He crawled up to the top, sitting and folding his knees against his chest nicely. He stared out, watching the green house down the street. There was one question about his spying method he'd never foudn the answer to. "Wonder if he can see me..."

Silence.
That was all that came from the house, and it was much better than the major amount of noise that would follow with the bomb being exposed. He took his time going up to the upper floor and absorbed the silence. Zim opened the door of his home and walked into the night air, looking up into the sky, and around at the buildings, without his disguise. Blood-red orbs fell upon the lawn gnomes in his home, and they were pulled into the ground and out of view, as well as the fence and other lawn decorations as beeping emitted from the metallic backpack like item on his back.
Gir ran out of the house as it started to disassemble itself and started retreating back into the ground in silence, the rumble created from it not strong enough to set off car alarms or wake the humans yet. "Gir, I would suggest moving out of the way." Zim said, walking out into the middle of the cult-de-sac (however you spell it.). Gir followed behind as the bomb's clamp twisted so the item it held was upright, as it started ascending into the night air, pipes strengthing the pole of the clamp and bomb.
"Lookit go!" Gir giggled, twisting so he could follow it until eventually following onto his back. "How far it s'pose to go up?" he asked Zim. "High enough to break through the earth's crust without taking hours." The alien replied.

Dib was peacfully watching the house until the door opened, a green and pink figure stepping out. "Zim?" he asked, standing up. He couldn't believe the guy would step out without his disguse on. The teen slid down the side of his house, stopping at the edge nearest Zim's house. It was still far away, but he could see better from this part of the roof.
"What the hell is he doing?" he wondered outloud, squinting to better see the alien. As the usdden device flew up from the ground, Dib let out a small noise. "What is that?" He stared in disbelief at the machine whipping through the sky. What was it? Why was Zim coming out and using it in the middle of the night?
The teen glared a moment before cupping his hands around his mouth. "Hey! Heeeeeeey! Zim!" he yelled as loud as he could, trying to get the alien's attention. "Zim! Hey, over here!" He waved his hands about. He knew the alien was up to something. He had to distract him while he thought of what he could do.

"Oh, look, it's the big head boy!" Gir pointed out, giggling. "HI BIG HEAD BOY!" He waved. "Dib-human...must...wait..." Zim grumbled, not falling for the trick of distraction. His hellfire eyes looked at the machine as he halted into the sky and flipped the missle so the drill was aimed for the ground below.
A screen slipped out from his pak and written on it were: 'Missle is ready to launch, proceed?' Black gloved fingers pressed the button and the clamp then released the object.
With that, Zim looked over at Dib, his signature villainous smirk upon his face. "Prepare to meet death, Dib-stink." he hissed, his voice slicing through the air like a knife through butter. "We're all gonna explode! YAY!" Gir said happily, his arms and legs moving like he was trying to make a snow angel in the asphault.

Dib stared, his mouth open slightly. "What?" He shook his head a bit, not believing the green alien down on the ground. The machine told him otherwise though. He watched the thing falling out of the sky. "No... it can't be..." He shook hsi head more, clinching his fists. "I can't be too late!" He cursed under his breath, heading over to the drain pipe. He jumped down, taking a hold of it so he wouldn't hurt himself with he landed on the ground.
Once his bare feet made contact with the grass, he started to run. He ran off towards where Zim was, going as fast as he could. "Zim! What are you doing?" He had no idea why he asked, but somtimes Zim would come out and tell him so he could find a way to stop it.
Though, when he looked at it, this didn't seem to be at any point where he could stop it. He had learned to ignore most of what Gir said, but this stuff about exploding seemed to worry the teen. He couldn't help but wonder if the little robot was telling the truth or not.
