I know we have the thread, "You know you're a Bibliomaniac when...", so I decided to look up the WikiPedia definition of "Bibliophily". Here is the link:

I have been trying to decide whether I am a bibliomaniac or a bibliophile. It's true that I have a large amount of books that have yet to be read in my collection, but it is slowly getting smaller and I have curbed my spending habits by getting more from the library. Although my obsession with having certain editions of books leads me to believing that I am a lover in general.
My mother told me that she wanted to build a small tower-like room on the side of the house and make it a library/study for me with bookshelves covering the walls. Ah, that's a dream that I would love to indulge in someday!

Ooh, thank you for bringing this page to my attention. So the next time someone says "bibliophile" I can adjust my glasses and say "Actually, the proper term is bibliophilic."
No, just kidding. I'm not a vocab snot. wink wikipedia Bibliophilia is not to be confused with bibliomania, an obsessive-compulsive disorder involving the collecting of books to the point where social relations or health are damaged,

And Tsuki, I think our mothers would get along well. My mother is currently making a library out of our spare room (which is, sadly, not a tower).

Technically, I don't think I'm a bibliophile/maniac. I don't care about the edition or rarity of the book (Though it would be cool to have some). What I'm interested in is the story; the content of the book. So I suppose I'm a bookworm.

I have to thank you.
I never realized I had Biblomania. ^__^; It doesn't do anything to my health or my social status... people just think I'm odd for owning more books then I will ever read @_@;
