Like the topic says, I'm getting a 360 (had money left from my trip), and I was wondering what games you guys would suggest and why.
I sould also mention that I will play anything EXCEPT racing games (unless they have weapons), and that I'm not in the mood for a super crazy hard game right now. Also I'm not getting Oblivion, I serously do not have the time to play that game. -_-
Oh, and I'd like some ideas for good Xbox games as well. Thanks ahead of time.

I suggest you get NOTHING...for now
Because you do realize that the 360 has the ability to download game demos. Try the games out for yourself before you splurge wasted money right and left 3nodding
King, Veras, Koma, Ryath, and I are getting Halo 3 and Half-Life 2 just for the multiplayer aspect. So get em if you wanna join us 3nodding

Well, if you want an easy game, and you like Dynasty Warriors, buy Ninety Nine Nights.

Oh I knew about the demos, but I still wanted some ideas. And I'm planning on getting Half Life 2 for it as well (since my PC is being a ***** when it comes to games).
I'll post my Gamertag when I get it, (which should be tomorrow).

Hmm, well you want anthing except Racing games I'll suggest what I got my 360 for.
Dead Rising
Crackdown
Gears of War
Condemned
Guitar Hero 2(If you don't have the PS2 version, and you're interested in the series, go for the 360 version)
Viva Pinata
Tomb raider Legends(awesome awesome, yet easy, game)
Kameo
a 4000 MS points card(There are dozens of great XBLA games)

There are a few good games. But the Summer - Winter 07 season will be insane with game releases.

There hasn't been a good enough selection of games to make me want a 360 yet, and now that Geomotry Wars is coming to the Wii and DS, that just hurt it further. Yes, a downloadable game was the biggest selling factor to me, but now that's changed.

Yes, a downloadable game was the biggest selling factor to me, but now that's changed. That's kinda the case for me. I only got the 360 because I got a massive discount on it, but I get the few games I like and the ones that are mutiplayer with the guild members here to play too.

Would recommend Gears of War and Crackdown, not to mention Star Wars: Force Unleashed, BioShock and Assassin's Creed when they come out.

Crackdown's a fun game to just screw around and have fun with. The Co-Op helps, too.
You have no idea how much fun causing explosions in that game is.

I also got it because there were lots of games coming out for it that I wanted. Plus with Wii's still being hard to find around here, it was the safest bet.
