Book 7, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, is coming fast.

Carnival event happened during this time

So in order to bring back more guild interaction in our discussions, discuss everything you want (predictions whatever) here.
Everything from Snapes' Loyalties, R.A.B., the first 6 books, characters, etc. can be discussed here! Maybe with everyone putting their ideas together something will open up.
I'll try to keep this updated as much as possible.

PS. If anyone wants to put some graphics or something in this thread to make it more spiffy then send them to me!

Now I shall wait for someone to start the ideas.

Anything and everything about book seven, huh? Okay...Voldemort dies. Snape dies (double-crossing, murderous, slimey, bird-beaked, snake-tongued excuse for a human being!). Harry lives (hopefully). Uhm...I'm done. Can't think of anyone else in particular right now.

Snape isn't going to die!! Voldie will though. He and Bellatrix his love slave. I hate Bellatrix, I hope Sirius' ghost comes back and murders her, or Lupin turns into a werewolf and ravages her!! twisted

I've never heard anyone refer to Voldemort as "Voldie" before..

but anyways, I think that Snape is really on our side, that is to say, Harry's side. I don't think that any wizard, no matter how powerful, could have duped Dumbledore into believing he was no longer a servant of Voldemort when he really was. I think, that Dumbledore told Snape, that if remaining in the Order of the Phoenix as a double-agent, and keeping the dark side convinced of his loyalty, he could kill him in the worst of circumstances..But at the same time, I know that Snape needn't have killed Dumbledore..No one was forcing him to.

But it just seems to me, that Dumbledore was the wizest wizard in the world, and how could someone like Snape truly dupe him?
I mean, Dumbledore always was saying how totally and completely Snape had his trust, but for reasons he wouldn't tell? I think that there was something we don't know about that assured Dumbledore of Snapes loyalty.

Snape is a true slytherin: a clever, devious man. He has a knack for wiggling out of tight spaces; think of when Voldemort was reborn. Snape had to talk his way out of being tortured or worse, killed. He also has to sheild his mind from Voldemort, who is a talented Legilimens and probably would rip through someone's mind without a second thought if he suspected betrayal. If he can do that to Voldemort and live to tell the tale, why not Dumbledore, who is a good deal more trusting and less likely to poke through someone's brain? I think that Snape only ever served himself, in an effort to keep himself alive and on the winning side. And I want to see the snake get what he deserves.

That's a nickname many HP fans have for Voldemort. I guess it shows his 'soft side'.. I share soo many of your views. I don't think Dumbledore would be bale to get lied to. He believed in Love, Voldie didn't. Snape was in love with Lily, and that was enough to convince Dumbledore of his true alligiance. Voldie is ignorant of love, so he wouldn't see it if it popped up in his face a million times. Why else would Snape had made the Unforgivable Vow? Voldie was his master. As a Death Eater he didn't care who he killed or whatever. He had a soft spot that did not want to see Narcissa hurt, or Draco dead.

Only reason I ever loved Snape's character was because of his cruelty. But because I think Snape loves Lily, and Dumbledore champions the ability to Love (something Voldie and his DE would never understand) over all else. I believe Snape is on the Order side.

R.A.B being three people is crazy in my opinion. Why? Because the entire letter was in first person singular.

"I, alone,....."

I just posted that in the RAB thread. I think it's interesting the whole RAB thing. Sirius (confirmed) is coming back in some form, so I think he'll hold some information about his brother.

I hate the fact the book is soo short. It seems like everything will be thrown together!

One more thing for hte day, and yep it's about Snape!

Did anyone ever question Snape's loyalties before the 4th and 5th book came out? No. He was never considered a DE or Voldie Supporter in the first 3 books. He was just an avid Sirius/James/Harry hater. The first books always suggested how Snape never failed to listen to DD, which in my opinion points to him being truly Good. Not until the 4th book did anyone ever guess that Snape was in allegiance with Voldemort.
I think JK has just been leading those people on. Trying to confuse them maybe. I never thought Snape would be this important to the plot when I first started reading the series (I read the 4th book first!)
I think because Snape had the ability to Love and Hate he's a goodie! heart

Snape is certainly out for himself. And I think that he thinks Voldemort will win,so he made the final step and killed Dumbledore...Effectively turning him bad.

As for life and death. As JKR said, two characters will die that weren't suppose to,and one will not die that she had planned on dying. So who?

I think that it will take witnessing murder to truly turn Draco to the good side. Who's murder? Hagrids! Possibly in a large,middle-of-the-book conflict,Hagrid will die trying to save Draco, who was dragged along by the Death Eaters. He will be shaken (Though he never liked Hagrid and Hagrid never liked him,I think Hagrid would still try to save someone he thinks is innocent)....Voldemort will not truly die. He will choose to be a ghost, which is the ultimate damnation for him. What can you do as a ghost? You can haunt people. Annoy them. For someone as evil and ill-natured as Voldemort,I don't think he would even bother. So...He would get to spend all eternity alone, unable to do something as simple as read a book. Awesome,he deserves it for killing James (I love James...)....

That was definetely original. Hagrid saving Draco is humorous!

I was thinking more like Ron saving Draco after everything Draco said about Ron's family.

I wonder how Percy fits in. I know he dies but I wonder how!

Lol Oh I have a game idea that would be funny. We have to think of a different way to read the hp books everyday until the 7th book comes out lol that would be funny, so its kinda off topic but yet in topic because its talking about Harry Potter
