I've seen many threads around Gaia talking about music such as heavy metal, saying it has no meaning. Other threads I've seen, there's people starting to hate each other because of the music they listen too. So, I'm making this thread. xP
I personally don't care what kind of music I listen too. As long as it's not rap... I hate rap, certain kinds of rap anyways. I don't hate the people who listen to it though. A lot of people in my school listen to rap but they're really nice people... But yea, I can listen to anything besides rap. xD

I think it's immature to hate someone because of their music preference. I mean, who cares what other people listen to or how they feel about what you listen to? It's trivial.

My musical tastes are a tad... different. sweatdrop I'm into rock, metal, j-pop, musicals, classical... sweatdrop
As for hating someone because of their music, it's stupid but you can understand why it happens. People like to promote themselves as following certain trends and music tastes come into this. If someone likes metal and dislikes pop, then keeping away frm someone who enjoys pop will define who they are and who they are not. Personally, I'm not a fan of pop music, but my friends are. Live and let live, people like different things. wink

Mm, I listen to a lot of different music, but I guess since usually I listen to whatever friends of mine are listening to, I'm pretty open to pretty much anything. Though of course I still have my own tastes. cool

One: The only music I'm listening to right now are MIDI's (Musical Instrument Digital Interface).
Two: I haven't went through those things before so I'll have to pass, but! Volume!
Three: I know Japanese music has great rhythm and yes I do love their musics!

I like all kinds of music, but i love rock.
ppl should have choice in what they want to listen to, jus because you might not like it doesn't mean they should be hated for it

I despise rap, hip-hop, and emo music. I'll listen to pretty much anything else, but I prefer rock, Broadway musicals, and Jrock/pop. whee

But I also like funk or something 70's related, blues, maybe... pop? I know I have a few out there so yea. If I don't like something that the others liked, I'll let them listen to it. Unless it's the other way round, that would be the same.

I think people have the right to like what they want with out it inflicting on them as a person. To me that is like Judging a book by its cover before even reading it to find out if its good or not.

Like those who say they hate KoRn now might like one of their songs later... just like my friend, she hates heavy metal... but she listens to a couple songs anyways. O_o;
