- Asian Dramas.
Don't we love them? XD (If you don't, you probably shouldn't in this thread. UNLESS, you're willing to give them a try.
I've watched quite a few. I favour Taiwanese/Japanese Dramas over Korean ones, because the language just sounds more familiar to me. sweatdrop Here's a pretty long list of the ones I consider to be the best out there.
(In no particular order)
One Litre of Tears - A Japanese drama that revolves around a 15 year old girl named Aya, newly diagnosed with Spinocerebellum atrophy.
*I really liked this series, even though it was so incredibly sad at times. One litre of tears indeed...*
MARS - Quiet girl, loud, lusted-for boy; who would've thought they'd be drawn to each other? Ling, with a life haunted by the death of his twin brother, tries to throw it off by being reckless and flirtatious with women. Qi Luo is more or less the complete opposite, nearly anti-social, and scarred by an occurrence in her past.
*Go google this one...I write horrible mini summaries. -___- I make things sound horrible. Honestly, it's worth checking out.*
PRIDE - Aki is a 'woman of the last century', stuck waiting for a lover who went away but promised to return. Halu is a womanizer, not to mention a star hockey player, but once he sets his gaze on Aki, there's no going back. To suit each of their situations, they turn their relationship into a game, but unknowingly, it develops deeper...and suddenly, Aki's lover returns into the scene.
*There's quite a few hockey games, but plenty of romance and quite heart wrenching at times. Definitely worth a watch, even if you don't like hockey. =P*
It Started With a Kiss - To be honest, I don't remember too much about this one. It was cute, humorous and of course, there was romance. Google it for the plot...
Devil Beside You - Wild guy, unwilling (at first) girl, jealous girl, typical athletic 'star' boy...Google it. I thought it was alright, but the humor was a bit off, and I didn't like Rainie's acting.
Hana Kimi - Rei Xi attends an all boys academy in disguise in order to attend the same school as the high jumper she saw on tv, whom she instantly admired.
*The last drama I watched, and instantly one of my favourites. Ella's acting was a bit like Rainie's, but I found that I didn't mind it...maybe because it was Ella? I just loved the series because of the chemistry between her character and Wu Zun's.*
Silence
Lavendar
Meteor Garden I & II
Hana Yori Dango
Love Contract
Goong
Those are all the ones I've watched.
My favourites have descriptions of the general plot.
Feel free to suggest some!
