Yes, it's true. *Eggman defeated Sonic and it was pretty bad. At least he hasn't died because I'd feel so horrible if he did later on.* Lets talk about the comic and what may happen next issue!

Ah crap, you JUST beat me to making a topic about this. o_o;;
Don't think you need to hide spoilers, though...Chances are anybody reading this will have already read the issue.
But anyway, yeah, it was a great issue, and I really can't wait to see where this all goes. The fact that it's down to the four major characters (in the games) makes things interesting.
EDIT: C&P'ed from the thread I made:
Was kinda nice to see that the crap finally hit the fan, not to mention a bit of a relief that Espio didn't bite the dust last issue (sure Sega would've been on Archie about that).
Loving the art in this one, too....Sonic's face when he snaps is just great (hard for me to pick between that one and Sonic's "WTF?!" face at understanding Muttski, drawn by Jon Gray, in terms of favorites XD). Plus I totally dig the design of Robotnik's mech....kind of a mix of old-school and new-school going on with it.

Sorry I beat ya to it! sweatdrop Anyways, I loved te art as well. I even drew some of the angry faces Sonic has. He looks completely whacked out when he hears that Eggman thinks he has a "limit". The sad part is that he only caused a dent in the robot's sheild...
The only reason I did spoilers was the fact Nuala edited my post for that once... sweatdrop

Loved the weapon Eggman's new 'toy' used. Flashbacks to Sonic 1. 8D <333
And I like this plot. We finally just have the four 'main' Sonic characters alone and out to save the world.

I myself wouldn't mind if they made this into a TPB book at some point or another. I can't wait to see what happens next issue. When I went to Hastings to grab a copy of it a few weeks ago, they only had two left, so it definitely grabbed some attention.

Withhow few issues they're cramming into each, it'll be a wonder if people can sit through some of the really cornball stuff, until the comic started to get into its stride.

I'm hoping they continue it too. Honestly, I love the little books. Coloring and retouching issues aside. I can't find the other two (3 and 4) anywhere. I keep checking Barnes and Noble, but to no luck.

Might be easier to just order them....which is what I need to get around to doing myself. Though, I am a bit miffed at the price for what's a rather meager book, when manga graphic novels out there give you up to three times as many pages for around the same price.
...But I guess the price is moreso because of the color pages. :/
At least the cover art is nifty, with its old-school style.

To me it's a fair price because some small books with no color or pictures go for the same price. Spaz really knows what he's doing when he draws a cover. 3nodding

That's great news, except when I went, I hadn't read your post, so my trip to the bookstore was pointless. Not that we went just for that. I also went to the mall. Got some Disney stuff, etc. It's odd how the 3rd volume wasn't even mentioned on the B&N website when I checked. It might have changed though.

Castellan Seamus Stewart Hi, guys. Long time no see. I have just ONE question about #175 (and I already have #176, but won't spoil anything). WHERE THE F*** WAS SHADOW WHEN ALL THIS HAPPENED?! stressed He was mysteriously gone. I don't know where he could have been, perhaps somewhere in Knothole, and now captured? You're quite the lucky man to have #176. I've searched for weeks, and the only place I see it is eBay. I'm not ready to buy it there yet but seeing as how nothing's in any store around me, I'm getting closer to that option every time I look with no results.
