(if you noticed, all my topics include my friend's in it, including this one)
yeah so my friend moved away. why? so here's a freaky story she told me:
my friend occasionally hears a squeaky scream right in her ear. She says how it sounds like a female yell / cry. Her mom explains to my friend saying how she heard the exact same thing.
One day my friend had all her relatives over.
My friend's cousins slept over night in my friend's room. One was 7 and the rest - who cares bout them their not part of the story. so the 7 year old cousin left the room in the middle of the night needing to pee. She left the room door opened and as she walked to the washroom she turned slightly to the other side towards the staircase and saw a man holding a knife with his arms out saying "COME HERE". He had a crusty outfit with a pale white face full of marks. the little girl covered her mouth screaming and crying. she did not wake up anyone- but my friend. The little cousin told my friend what happend, and she belived her - since she already had other ghostly encounterings in that house.
The 7 year old cousin awoke her mom by talking loudly with my friend and she didn't want to scare her so she said nothing's wrong. so as she went back to bed she forgot to go pee. she bravely walked back, did her thing and went back to the room.
OH- and my friend- she saw her "brother" go down the staircase after the cousin screamed, since the cousin left the door open as she left to pee the . she heard him in the kitchen opening drawers.
-now back to the story. so the cousin layed down with her eyes slightly open trying to sleep ignoring what just happend. then all of a sudden- she saw the same man! RIGHT BESIDE HER at the side of the bed. The man looked down on her with 9 knives and smirked with an evil smile like this twisted .
She cried even more and this time screaming at the top of her lungs awakening the entire house this time..
The story ends here but remember how my friend saw her brother going down the steps? remember he went down to the kitchen drawers? then the man had 9 knives? and the female scream?
My friend asked her brother if he went anywhere that night, he answered that he never moved the entire night, he was just laying in he bed sleeping.
my friend and her cousin relize the man was the one making noises downstairs
PERHAPS a MURDER occured in this house? and the eveil man is back again looking for revenge? WHO KNOWS IM ONLY 12 (this explains why my vocabulary is so bad)

Well that is a creepy story. It leaves me wondering two things:
Does the seven year old watch horror movies? Once little kids get creepy imagery in their heads it's often hard to keep it apart from reality.
How can a person hold nine knives? Even if there is a way to hold them all without the danger of dropping them, how could he use them against someone in a practical fashion? Unless he's Freddy Krueger, he sounds like a very inefficient murderer.
As for your friend hearing high-pitched screaming in her ear, assuming there isn't a rational explanation, like that they're just ringing, my two cents would be that it's entirely possible to hear things that aren't occuring at that time or even in the same space - which is confusing and disconcerting but the point would be - maybe she is hearing a real person scream at some point in time or it could be a ghost. Then again, an ear exam wouldn't be too terribly out of order, would it? More than one person could always be experiencing the same symptom due to sharing exposure to the same sort of damage to their hearing.

Yeah, It's pretty scary.. but I have to agree with Spellcat it could have been her imagination.. but still I could have beleived she saw the man.. but nine knives? I think you're over going it there...

My thoughts go back and forth on this one; 1. Get out of the house and have a priest bless it immediatly and 2. Someone has an over active imagination and is off of their medication to boot.
