(Well, there was a thread about Spidy, so why not Pirates?)
I watched it today, and it was better than what Yahoo said...At least I think so, seems worthy of a B.
Good
The actors did an great job acting
Costume and make-up were good
Intended humor worked
Bad
The story was muddy in the beginning
Some scenes were uneeded
PREDICTABLE
I want to know your input. Was it good? Bad? or inbetween?

I liked the beginning. I thought it was imaginative and looked great.
I thought the humor was pretty good, too. XD
But the more the movie went on, the more I thought the plot sounded like fanfic. Badfic, even, in parts.
AND... spoiler:And they killed Davy Jones. Who happened to be the awesomest character in the entire series. But not after making him the East India Trading Co.'s lapdog.
That made me SO mad. And now I pout.
*pout*
Overall, I thought it was a pretty good movie, possibly better than Dead Man's Chest, but I just couldn't enjoy it as much.

Compared to other s**t in our theatres.. it was an excellent movie.
Only problem that bothered me was the Kraken. Wtf. It is so badass in the second movie but in this one it was dumb enough to just get itself washed ashore?
Can somoene clear this up for me?

You coun't always tell what would happen, like: King/Captain Swan. The many Jacks were fun to watch.
Bad:

Lol i agree with the whole elizabeth thing, which seriously, they made her look like a slut...yeah it was better than spiderman three, i mean they forgot to put the lizard in there *cough* its in number four* cough* and the whole plot line sucked...i need to find that stupid gif of peter parker dancing like an idiot....

i thought it was really good..my fave movie has to still be Dead Mans Chest though..
in the third one..some scences were predictable and unneeded..but thats almost in all movies xp

I saw the movie twice, once the night it came out with my family, then again with my boyfriend ^_^
Oh, but what I didn't like was how spoiler : E's and Will's son was the kid from the begining... *sigh* talk about re-useing actors LOL.
I did like it better than the second one though, and I think it was a good movie...
Oh, and Spidie 3 was good if you've never seen the show/read the comics XD
