Well, I just got my first electric guitar... and it was out of tune. So, while I was tuning it, one of my strings snapped. The problem is, I don't know how to string an electric guitar. Any help?

just like an acoust, if its tuning keys are on the top then turn them like you would on the top and vice versa.

yeah, what the crazy black guy above me said. but if you're gonna get strings, dont get thick ones if you're a beginner. try Ernie Ball Super Slinkys.

I use medium gauge GHS Boomers. Try looking up on the internet, "How to restring an electric guitar." That's how I learned.

ghs last longer but ernie ball bends more. i like ernie ball for those eric clapton layla bends.
