Renaissance Faire!!! It's the season to be merry about everything. From sword fighting to pirating to faeries dancing in the woods. I just got back from the Nebraska Ren Faire in Omaha. It was a real trill to see everyone in costumes plus I got a chance to take a pic of someone in his own samurai suit! Next Faire I plan to go are: the I dunno the name but it's next week somewhere in Omaha, on in the mountains hidden somewhere in Colorado, the one down in Kansas City. I will post my pics later ^^
Does anyone else go to Ren Faires or dress up?

The ren fair never comes to us until the fall (near halloween), but I love going! I have several outfits I dress up in. I'll have to find pics so I can show you biggrin

I have to drive a fair distance, but it's definitely
worth the long trek, even after I've reached the
faire grounds.

Not too many ren faires within reasonable day tripping distance, but I do try to make it to the occasional SCA event. I even managed to stay out of the way of cameras on the day I wore my great kilt. blaugh
