SunGazing I have no idea. I don't know what state that's supposed to be though. That's Cleveland Ohio. I looked it up on an area code lookup site.. both the 216 and the 440 area codes are from Cleveland. If I get bored enough, I'm gonna drive to this guy's house.. xd

There's also a Zaphod Beeblebrox in Virginia, and two in California. I did a Yahoo peoplesearch and found 3 more. xd I'm going to have to make a few phone calls tomorrow, when it's not so late, just out of curiosity.
I'd copy and paste the link to the search results but I have this error where I can't copy and paste anything at all. x.x

It is very disturbing that you looked that up. And yet very amusing.

Well I just got off the phone with the "Zaphod" from that phone book.
Apparently it IS real, but what the guy told me is that it's an alternate phone line to his house, for internet use. The phone company will actually let you list whatever name you want, and his son chose Zaphod Beeblebrox since they're H2G2 fans. xd I believe he said he showed that phone book listing to DNA when he visited Cleveland at some point.
As for the Zaphods in California, one number was disconnected and the other was just someone who put up fake details in yahoo people search (which I wasn't sure how they can do but oh well.)

You actually called him? That is so cool. And he is cool too, for being a fan and showing it off in the phone book. What a great idea.

Did you pay long distance, or do you live in Cleveland?

SunGazing Did you pay long distance, or do you live in Cleveland? Neither. xd I have a cellphone with free long distance and unlimited night/weekend minutes (so I just called when my night minutes started..and I wouldn't go through any daytime minutes since work people are using up my daytime ones xd ). I do live in Pennsylvania though..I think I could drive to Cleveland if I was really determined.

xd Do you suppose Zaphod would have two telephones just for the purposes of talking with both his heads? Now someone ought to see if anyone is actually named Arthur Dent! That would be awesome! Although slightly annoying for anyone who just happens to be called that and suddenly yammering lunatics (us!) start calling and asking about the meaning of life.
