I have little doubt that the people here will have cause to dislike this song, but I have a problem.

I've been trying to interpret the lyrics, but I can't. Can someone here give me a hand?

binge, cringe, cringe, binge, sloppy
binge, cringe,
(the police used to watch over the people,
now they're watching the people)
sloppy, mincing, eyedropping, biopsy.
cyclops overlooks optic options.
rotten, showstopper, skinpopper.
babbler dabbler.
self confessed criminal.
tore pen in vain.
instant, still spellbound.
game stock, talk back rock.
reencounter incident.
subsistence is inexistent.
(now is the only thing that's real)
non committed, unwitted, oblivious.
habitual resistor.
roughed up edge, fluent nudge, pre-collect ignition.
motivation inexistent.

wasted views,
thats all they see blue,
hot blood, guilt, optic nerve.
with the right attitude you will succeed, blue.
self abusive recluse, too late for me.
make shifting peace unsettling.
crazy...doing crazy things.
keep your eyes open, soft spoken changes nothing.
a view so cruel.

disinterest. disinfect.
retold, impressed by possession.
insiders know, refresh, detained contest.
all that is pure, sure tonight, freeze in time.
shadows climb, distracting override.
instincts evolve, over and over.
why cant you see this?

(do you, don't you want me to make you?
coming down fast but don't let me brake you.
only tell me tell me the answer.
you may be a lover but you ain't no dancer)

wasted truth.
why call it all, blue?
hot lines.
eventual decline.
with the right attitude you will succeed, blue.
resent that discontent.
sidestep.
define the state of things so far.
crazy things, soft spoken..override.
with your eyes open, you know soft spoken changes nothing.
a view so cruel.
nothing.

view so cruel
view so cruel
you so cruel
view so cruel
a view so cruel
a view so cruel
(..so cruel)

try and take over, over the fringe.
sloppy, eyesore, rotten, showstopper, skinpopper.
a babbler and dabbler.
oh, change, change!
nothing.
nothing, so, no, nothing.
go, down.
go.

I can tell you what I think it's about.

I think that it's about being an addict and how everything is so touchable, and yet so far away. How disgusting you know you are, but how compelled you are to do it over and over again. What it's like to see other people who aren't addicts and how seperated you feel from them. How painful it is to come down from something and the magic of feeling it first hit the bloodstream.

(If I'm wrong, please be nice.)

You amaze me. I'm starting to understand what most junkies feel like. I am addicted to Adderal. I hate it so much, but the withdrawal is terrible. I almost started digging in the trash for food because my metabolism is so high that I'm almost always hungry, and I'm shaking like a b***h. If I go to long without it, I won't have enough energy to walk up stairs unless I'm eating all the time, because my body has gotten used to having amphetamines in it for energy, basically running on adrenaline all day.

Speed makes you it's b***h. It ******** up your stomach and teeth so bad, but you can do so much when you are on it, you know?

I will cry out into the night,
and let my anguish die away.
I will thrust my agony aside,
to prepare for a new day.

Hmm, I can't say I've ever been physically addicted to something, but my dad, who has cancer, was hooked on morphine about four years ago, and even now is so doped up on narcs that he can hardly do anything all day.

In this moment my strength failed,
I was falling through the ground.
in the distance my soul wailed,
all my parts became unbound.

I've had a couple of friends who had to take morphine before and they said that it was frightening. My mom had to be on Oxycontin for most of the last couple of months she was alive. It was really painful to see her like that. My heart goes out to you, man.

I love the video. Hunter showed it to me a couple of years ago. Nothing like a bunch of blood and gore, eh?

Man, that video is ******** legend.

Oh, and I did some digging. Ogre actually said that the whole purpose of the song was to criticize censorship, which is why the video was nothing but the most explicit video clips they could find.

It's about art, it seems. The macabre imagery is something that always had gotten me. It's almost along the lines of Burroughs.
