Pink orbs scanned the midday sky as the clouds drifted slowly past. Bakari gave a yawn as he lay at the top of a hill, the sun shining on his back and thick black mane. He curled his tail around himself, resting his head on his paws. The warm breeze blew the grass around him, as wel as the dark hairs that made up his mane.
It was a nice day out, he had to admit that, but the prince couldn't help to find it extremely boring as well. Closing his eyes he gave a sigh, head lopping to one side. Mere moments later, he opened his eyes again, scanning the savvanah that lay before him.
Nothing...

Inati paced through the lands, anger in her steps. She was glad to be away from Rose Wings, away from all the chaos there... But.. Well.. She'd have to leave... She didn't like being their, with her father, and when her mother went wandering...
"There's something out there for me." She murmured. "There has to be..."
Shrugging and picking up to a trot, she moved though the high grass. No real destination in mind... She didn't even pay attention to her surroundings, and paid little attention to the area...
Wait.. There was a lion nearby...
She stopped and eyed the male, appreciating the attractive creature before her.. Hmm.. How interesting? Perhaps he would join her games for awhile...

Bakari was lost in thought. He was counting the days where he could stand his pride, his family. He wanted to leave... So badly... but at the same time, he wanted to be there. For his mother, for his brothers...
His ears twitched as the sound of another in the distance reached him.
Standing, the lion turned, instantly spotting the dark tones lioness in the distance as she stood in the contrasting green grass.
"Hello" He called in a cool, regal tone. Slowly, he walked towards her, cautious. White and black tipped paws trailed in the grass. He scanned over her with his light pink eyes. Hm.. Interest'n lookin...

Inati tossed her head, giving the male a cool smile, her eyes glinting with barely contained interest. Here was an interesting development in her wanderings... Hmm... She paced forward with a more charming smile.
"Hello." She purred, her usual sultry tone curling around every word. "Lovely day isn't it?"
She considered the lion, wondering what pride he had come from... She didn't recognize his markings... "What brings you out here?"

Bakari took a few more steps foreward, smiling cooly. "Aye, it is..." He paused for a few moments, flicking his tail from side to side. In a darker tone, he continued. "Well, not really. It, to put it bluntly, has been quite the boring day...~"
A smile curled onto his maw, "Though, I suppose it now has gotten better. I've met someone else. A lovely lioness, nevertheless..."
He bowed his head, a formal look overcoming his rebel-like composure. "M'names Bakari, Prince of Le Roi de Sorrow. I was brought out here by my idle wanderings." Nodding his head, he looked back up at her. "What of you?" He arched a brow, ears flicking.

She smiled and gave a soft chuckle. Charm and sass, she liked this male.. He was very handsome too... She stepped forward a few paces and gave a slight bow of her head.
"You are very kind, Prince Bakari of Le Roi de Sorrow..." She murmured formally. "I too wandered out here by virtue of a drifting attentions.. I am Princess Inati of Rose Wing Pride... It is a pleasure to meet such a charming and good-looking prince."
She arched a brow at him. "But I was looking for a bit of trouble as well.."

"Ah, it is a pleasure to meet you, M'lady Inati, Princess of Rose Wing" The lion smiled, flicking his tail to one side. This lioness was interesting, different from the others he had met in the past.
"Mmmm..." Bakari blinked, arching an eyebrow with interest. "Trouble? Now what could such an alluring lioness such as yourself seek for this 'trouble' you speak of?" His smile turned to a sly grin as an ear flicked, the flakes waving in the air.

"Well met..." Inati gave a smile and a bit of a shrug. "Whatever I can find that looks promising, I suppose..."
She laughed softly, then paced up to him, blinking her lashes alluringly. "Do you have any ideas that would help me find what I'm looking for?"

"Ah, I'm afraid I wouldn't know." Bakari gave a shrug, eyes flicking about. "My day has been quite... dull, to put it bluntly. So, if you'd like, I'd love to accompany such a lovely lioness with whatever 'trouble' she can think up."
His maw curled into a grin and he flicked his tail back and forth behind him.

She pretended to pout for a few moments, then giggled softly, shrugging. "Well, I suppose if you're having a terribly dull day, you may accompany me... But I can't really promise you'll have all that much fun..."
She shrugged. "But if it helps Bakari, I would very much like you to come with me as I wander... You are a most charming companion..."

"Oh, I am easily amused" Bakari chuckled, ears flicking a bit. His grin grew a bit as she spoke again. He stood, his tail curling around himself.
"Ah, then I suppose I should honored then, hm?" He crossed his paws, black in white tips contrasting with the grass.

Inati laughed softly, pacing forward as she shook her head. "You can be honored if you so wish, but I was just being honest Prince... I find you a most interesting companion... It doesn't happen often..."
She shrugged and winked. "But it does happen..."
Turning her eyes to the landscape around her, she pondered where to go from here... She'd just been sort of strolling around up until now, but with a new companion on her wanderings... Well.. They'd figure out something...

"Ah, well. I take it as a compliment anyways." He chuckled and shrugged, walking up beside her. "It'll be nice to have a companion in wandering for a while." Nodding, he looked around, eyeing the mountain tops that loomed in the disance.
"There are the mountains in the north, the forest in the east.." He was mainly thinking to himself, pondering where to go.

"I live in the mountains..." She sighed. "My father's Pride, and my mother is visiting for a while... Though I do not know how long she will remain there... Living with him and his mate has made her very tempermental as of late... I imagine she will return to wandering soon.."
She shrugged, and considered him. Well.. She certainly could get into a lot of trouble with this male, and the idea appealed to her.. But at the same time.. He was faintly aloof, and somewhat charming and... Well.. She'd behave.
"Have you been in the forest?"

Ah, parents who were not mates? They had something in common, then. He flicked an ear, shrugged, his tail curling around him. "I have been to the forest.. a few times. Only to explore. The mountains I have gone to to visit. I live in a pride southeast of the mountains with my mother and brothers, my father the king, and his mate."
He nodded his head, glancing out of the corner of his eye in the general direction of the pride.
"Life is.. dull there, though. I live... in a rut. And, quite honestly, I haven't really enjoyed yself in a while..."
