Shego moved along at an even pace towards a small stream with the sun flooding down on her. Her mood seemed fouled by the harsh light that shone down over the land.
"I wish it were night..."
She tossed her head back with a snort and sighed wondering why the heat so mercilessly followed her. She flicked her tail with a grin as she finally saw the water and bent to drink.
A moment later with her thirst quenched and her mood improved she waded through the stream and stood on the opposite side shaking off and gazing at the sky through new eyes. She ignored the heat and allowed her thoughts to roam to the wind and sky.

*Even with the sweltering heat the thermals were nice, raising his bulk even further from the ground to where his shadow was a mere pinprick upon the ground. Tri-colored wings spread to his sides, the silvery colored stallion dove toward the ground to only kick off again as if it were just some large game or something. After one of his kick offs, the silver stallion noticed something near water, he thought nothing of it, the vague glimpse triggered not much, but a slight fancy as to what it had been. Turning with ease, the stallion turned back to land near gently on the ground. Wings shaking a little, before folding back against his sides. Head lowering, he soon stepped past the mare that was near and stepped into the cool water to cool his hooves from all the 'fun' he had been having.*

Shego glanced up her eyes narrowing on something in the air, a stallion and he was falling? No not falling it seemed to her he was going to land and he did sortof before kicking back into the air. Shego rolled her eyes at his behavior what a waste of energy.
"Overgrown foal..." she muttered and bent her head to dip her muzzle in the water.
She kept her head down and nibbled at the lush grass on the streams bank glancing over when she saw him finally actually land. She looked up unable to help herself from staring at his wings. She wasnt exactly a vain creature but she had to admit those wings were rather beautifully striking. She shook her head and glanced at her own reflection perhaps it was simply in her nature to always note the differences between herself and everything else around her.
She tilted her head thinking to herself I shouldn't always be so negative it'll turn me into a spiteful jealous thing... the trouble was she was always allowing cruel and sarcastic thoughts and comments into her mind or to slip from her tounge. Maybe I was just born with a nasty disposition. She huffed at the thought and tried to force a smile at her reflection and bask in the fact that the day was sunny...not blisteringly hot, and that she had a nice, but small, stream to drink from and cool off in.

*Stepping further into the water, the stallion lowered his own head to her a drink, his long banner like tail twitched, the end flopping uselessly in the water as it drifted from side to side a bit. His ears turning a little his inherited golden gaze turned back toward the strange green and black mare that stood at the waters side. Lifting his head up he just watched before turning his head away.
One blue hoof after the other he stepped back to the bank and out of the water. His wings remaining folded to his sides as his long tail dragged the ground. Stopping he turned his head once more toward the mare, hoping to not seem the foalish type in a greeting... That was less then mature.*
"Good day to ya." He said nodding before shaking a little as if he had just been swimming, though his coat was still dry. "A lovely day, besides the melting heat..."

Shego tried not to sneer and forced a smile.
"I guess...the heat has made me a little tempermental..." She laughed.
Not that the cold didn't make her tempermental as well, and the rain, and the snow, and just about everything else. She moved a bit closer an unaware of her actions slowly circled him as if inspecting him.
"I'm Shego by the way..." She finally stood infront of him and very slowly relaxed.
Why do I treat everything like a threat? The thought crossed her mind for only a second before she shook it off her tail flicking off a few drops of water.

*Standing in one place, Andre listened to the hoof steps of the mare as she circled about him, in the back of his mind he thought of her as a predator circling its prey, but it was just a passing thought as most were now a days. Snapping back from his own thoughts, he barely grasped her name as she had come to stand once more before him.*
"Andre, or Andy, which ever you prefer. Though my friends tent to call me Andy more then Andre." He shrugged closing his eyes for a moment before opening them again. "The weather can put anyone into either a bad mood or a good mood. With me it's half and half."
*He looked the mare over as he remained in one place, not willing to circle about her as if a prize or something, that was for Tsa, his only prize... If you wanted to call it that. He thought very highly of her and hoped that they could be more then just playmates and friends. Once more he was lost within his own thoughts of someone other then the one he was speaking with. That was very dangerous to do when one's mind wasn't open and possible danger was about...*

Shego gave a slight nod and stepped back she was never very good being close to anyone or anything she liked to have all space avilable to defend herself.
"Andre then..." She didn't think she liked the idea of a nickname for a friend.
If she had any friends what would they call her but her name? She was Shego and not even friendship would change that. She watched him curiously as his thoughts seemed to drift off.
"I didn't think anyone came to this stream...but I guess you get a nice birds eye view of everything?" She tossed her head towards his wings.

"Hmmm?" he seemed a bit distracted before snapping out of his momentary day dream of sorts as Shego had gestured toward his wings.
*Sure he might have had a birds eye view of everything, but still he did tend to try and travel on the ground when it was most hot. Sometimes the thermals were begging him to fly, like today.*
"I suppose you could say that, I rarely fly anyways. Only when the thermals. call my name." He shrugged fluffing out his feathers a little on his wings in pride of them. "I do take pride in my wings, being that my family are all winged soquili." He nods thinking now that it shouldn't really have been said.
"But it is a pleasure to meet you Shego, I don't think I've seen anyone like you before." He said quizitivly watching her for a moment. "Then again, I haven't met many since I was a foal and tangled with a meat eater..." He shuddered.

Shego nodded. "Well if I had wings I would take advantage of them..." She shrugged and listened to his mention of family with a curt nod.
"So you've never seen a...mare before?" She glanced over at her reflection wondering if there was something else about her that might be unique other then the slashing marks of black and green.
She snapped to attention and smiled. A meat eater?" now that roused her curiosity.

*Andre watched Shego as she watched her reflection for a moment before shaking his head a bit. He had met a mare before, though it was only his aunt and cousin, were they considered mares? Or family? He wasn't too sure about that one...*
"Well I have met a couple of mares, but they were only my aunt and cousin, if they fall in that category..." he said pawing at teh ground a little, thinking of one other that could have been considered a Mare, but 'she' was only a friend he missed seeing.
*His head raised up a little as Shego seemed to take curiosity in his mentioning of a 'meat eater, Jason, he was an evil one, though he didn't really /want/ to harm him. Over all, Andre didn't think that Jason could have hurt him even if he really wanted to.*
"That encounter was a long time ago when I was just a foal,>" He said looking away as if he didn't really want to think about it.

Shego looked back over to him curiously and tossed her head back.
"So what makes me so unique? If you've seen a mare before..." She tilted her head and let the subject of the meat eater go. Though such a conecpt facinated her she wondered if she had sharper teeth and some skill to hunt if she could live on such a diet as well.

*Feeling pinned in a corner, Andre's wings fluffed up a bit as he turned to step past Shego and looked toward the skies as if looking for something else to watch. What was unique about her? Her coloring he guessed, he didn't know. Shaking his head and letting his long mane cascade down his neck he looked back at her, hoping to not make her thing that he liked her, liked her. Love wise anyways, there was only one hat had that part of him.*
"Well besides my family, you are the only one that I have met that hasn't either tried to eat me or tried to make me fall in love with them." He shuddered thinking that came out wrong. "Becoming friends is a good thing though." He nodded hoping to not upset her too much.
*A sigh came to him as his head hung in quite the shameful way as he looked more toward the ground then toward Shego. Ears twisting back more to listen then to seem agitated by something, he waited for her response to his words. Man he wised he was wise like his father, but no one was like another. He ended up with the wrong end of the stick when it came to brains. Where his parents were smart, he wasn't. Nor was he good with words either.*

Shego tossed her head back and laughed long and loud. She snickered and finally quieted down.
"Well then I guess I'm glad you think I'm unique...I suppose I couldn't eat you even if I tried your feathers would taste odd...and I certainly have no intention of trying to seduce anyone let alone you bird boy."
She frowned as she noticed his head down.
"No offense or anything...thats just not what I really want...I'm very happy with myself you know?" She tried to give him a reassuring smile.

*Andre gave a nod as he raised his head back, knowing now that he hadn't upset her, though her laughter bit hard into his mind like viper fangs into flesh. An uneasy smile crossed his face as he tried to laugh.. A little anyways. But only a slight wheeze came from him.*
"I'm glad you are the way you are." He nodded. "It would be strange if everyone was the same as everyone else."
*At that ha gave a small chuckle, but it was only within his mind as he wished not to laugh out right and look like a larger fool then he already was.*

Shego grinned and shook her head watching him curiously. She wondered what went through his mind to make such responses tumble out of his mouth. Though normally such a display of foal like foolishness coming from a full grown stallion would exasperate her she was grateful enough for a little company to forgive it.
"It would certainly make finding who your friends or enemies are much harder if everyone was alike...if preadators acted like prey or if prey acted like predators...I prefer knowing where I stand." She gave a firm nod.
She glanced him over again and felt bad for him being chased around by mares, she was thankful she hadn't run into any overzealous Stallions...maybe there just werent any? Thank goodness for that the last thing she wanted was to have to fight of some nut who wanted some kind of family. She bit back a snicker at the thought of how she would enjoy giving such a male a swift kick in the head. She didn't want Andre two question her sanity a friend would be nice to have.
