Ok, here is the deal - if you are not farmilliar with the Japanese Saiyuki Gaiden manga, lemme explain...Kazuya Minekura wrote a Japanese Saiyuki Gaiden manga in 2002, however it was only the first installment. If you havent seen it, here is a link so you can look at it and read the whole thing. It is translated, so enjoy, you english-loving fools! ((hope that explains it...))

Anyways, back to the point of this topic...i am posting a link to a picture that was released in the Zero-Sum magazine to celebrate and announce Saiyuki Gaiden's continuation...though i believe WARD magaziene did the same tribute as Zero-Sum..... ((Zero Sum and WARD are - i believe - japanese magazines that Kazuya Minekura's work is displayed in alot...kinda like shonen-jump, Zero Sum takes chapters from different manga series to show fans....hope that made sense....))

It has been a long time since Saiyuki Gaiden was published in that magazine, ((i think the last year was like in 2003 or something like that...)) and apperently their Spring Issue just announced Gaiden's continuation will be published in August this year ((2005)), meaning that it will all be in Japanese, meaning that Gaiden #2 ((manga)) will be on eBay soon, meaning that the Gaiden questions we've all been asking will soon be answered! ^^; There are Gaiden Manga #2's posted online, and again here is a link (( http://gensomadensaiyuki180.tripod.com/id5.html )), however to my understanding they have not been published in manga form. Also, if you couldnt notice, in the previous link, the story doesn't end; it only raises more questions before th epictures stop. So, again this is to my understanding, Kazuya Minekura's next publication of Gaiden will be the next chapter after the last one posted on that site, or vaguely around that point of the story....well, on to the picture link! ^^;

Heh, well, this is the result of boredom to a new level, but i just thought this might be an interesting topic for our guild to discuss teh Saiyuki Gaiden manga.
