It had been a long time since her body twitched with tire. She stretched out her arm lazily, stretching out each finger once at a time. Each time she tugged on the muscles, she felt vibration shooting down her arm. She set "Alice in Wonderland" atop the coffee table, and peered out the window. Imagining for a second of being tall, and having to lean over to gaze out the window at the moon, she pushed her hands above her head in another stretch. There were many things to "eat" here, but at the same time, nothing at all. She gave a sigh, deciding that actually resting could be healthier then stabbing her self with a needle and trudged down the stairs. Even though rest was so boring.
The digital clock read a time that only those addicted to things went to sleep at. She traced the hem of the blanket on the floor. Someone had undoubtedly slept in it. For whatever reason. It was an odd sensation to think of someone sleeping in her bed. Lifting the blanket off the floor she threw it onto the bed with some struggle, the weight kept shifting the stuffing inside falling away from her hands. Eventually, the blanket was completely on the the bed, and she fell down lifelessly on it, before remembering it was customary to change before going to sleep.
Finally changed, cleaned, and with a bed that was made, Airaka fell once more on to her bed. She used her feet to moved the blanket to squeeze underneath, then pulled the blanket up to her neck. After rolling back and forth for a couple minutes, she gave a wide yawn, one of actual sleepiness, then drifted to sleep.

When the woman fell asleep her soul floated out of her body, hovering a little above it-able to see that she was just asleep. The relic hung around her neck like a ghostly becon, beckoning her towards a strange door that had materialized in her room.

Airaka stood quietly above her own body. She hadn't noticed herself waking or moving about, much less being an entity apart from her material being. There was no way such could be a real dream like the ones they had.But never one to panic, Airaka looked around this new world quietly. It wasn't really a new world, more or less her bed room with a large door before her. An unnatural large door. Last time she checked, there had not been any door in her room as such.
After a couple more seconds of attempting to poke back into her body, Airaka realized that there was no way to proceed any further in her life without pressing forward into the door. It brought back flickers of meshed together memories from her past. Oh, what wonderful messed up memories. Finally deciding she would follow the gentle coaxing of her necklace, Airaka tiptoed forward, not sure how stable this place was, and rapped a couple times on the giant door.
The silence that followed, meant it was either safe to enter, or just the exact opposite. Airaka pulled the door open just enough so she could slip her tiny body into whatever room lay before her. She clenched her eyes shut expecting screams and yells, or even a quick death. When a moment of life passed, her blue eyes popped open, surprised and curious to what ever that stood before her.

When Airaka passed through the door it vanished behind her, leaving her currently trapped in this place. Before her was a grand dining hall. The table was laden with dishes of gold, crystaline glasses and grand utensils. This had been one hell of a party. Sadly near the middle of the table there lay a woman.
She had long hair the color of autumn leaves-and in a way they did resemble autumn leaves. She had large emerald colored fairy wings with black patterns through them and sections of peridot. Her skin was a lovely autumn hue, pale with a somewhat windswept glow to it. She wore a lovely green velvet gown to match her wings and lay almost elegantly in death, hair strewn across the table and her hand on the edge of her glass.
The relic on Aira's neck beckoned her to lay a hand on the lifeless figure before her. Though she had been dead some time the body did not seem to be a corpse, neither rotted nor dead seeming. Just without life.

Her eyes revealed a dining hall. Quite a grand one indeed. More grand then one she had ever seen before. Or... No. That one was no match for this. She took a couple steps towards the table, and reached a hand out to touch a dish. Her whole being wished to grab on to the plate, but that voice in the back of her head screamed at her. She decided that once again she would listen to that voice. Usually it did her some good. She backed up again, holding her hands carefully before her, and looked through the room once again.
This time she noticed the body, which she had originally over looked for the placement of the room. Airaka grabbed on to her necklace, silently trying to explain to it that touching dead bodies was not cool. Of course, the body didn't really look that dead, she was reassured back, not by the necklace though. Creeping forward a bit, she examined the body. It wasn't showing any signs of death. Then again, you could never trust bodies these days. Airaka tapped a finger against the palm of her other hand. With a vanished door, and no other way out, it seemed once again all she could do was obey this necklace.
It was almost dreadful. She looked from the wall to the body. Giant butterfly wings, wonderful almost glowing hair, beautiful skin. The being looked unearthly, or even like one of those carefully created dolls. Airaka wished that if she ever died that she would die this elegantly. Of course, that would never happen, she muttered silently to herself, she was not very elegant to begin with. With a deep breath, she cautiously reached out a hand, grabbing on to the beings shoulder.

When her hand touched to goddess's shoulder, the form began to glow completely, as did the relic. Though the relic was more active. It shot like light from her throat and into the figure. When it did that, the glowing mass that had been the gorgeous woman, started to shrink. And when it had finished that there before her sat an almost as cute as the woman was beautiful, baby girl with wide brassy eyes and long autumn hair.

Airaka stumbled a couple steps back and quickly threw her arms up as the body began to glow. She was ready for a fight, but her efforts were in vain. The necklace that had felt as if it were strangling her for the past three or so months finally released her from it's grasp and tore into the body of the being before her. She dropped her arms beside her as the body began to shrink. With a raised eyebrow she gave a half cough.
The body was reforming and recreating it's self into something new. And, rather oddly, something alive. A baby sat, rather purposefully, before her in the chair the woman had been. Big eyes, autumn hair. Airaka blinked down at the baby. With no real idea of what to do, she simply look down on the child, before something dawned on her. Either this was a really bad dream, or this was as that woman had told her about a long time ago. About goddesses becoming children. She bit her tongue. This couldn't be it, could it?
Airaka quietly reached forward, taking the baby into her arms. It took a couple attempts before she was sure she was holding the child right. She patted the baby's back reassuringly then looked around. The woman decided she was ready for an end to this ... dream, and would really like to leave soon... Anytime now, thank you.

When she claimed the winged child the door reappeared, wide open, allowing them to reenter their bodies.
