History: Carlos was born in a middle class Christian family. He was the youngest of three brothers. His brothers liked to make fun of him for no apparent reason. He was home schooled for a bit but then was put into a private school. His parents always thought of him as a prodigy so he was not aloud to watch TV or play video games so he turned to books to entertain him his favorite books are fantasy. he also started to look into mythology and was fascinated by these creatures and stories but the once he loved the most were Norse mythology he always thought of the heroes and creature as cool he thought that they were really brave and could stand up to anything.
It was around this time that he made up his mind that that when he grows up he was going to be an archaeologist.
Around the time he turned ten he started to be aloud to go outside. Were he became friends with Colby his best friend to this day. He and Colby used to hang out when ever he was aloud out. Colby used to be picked on for certain reasons (his talking in l33t did not help). On one especially bad day he was being beaten up by some kids Carlos came out from his house to hang out with Colby. Carlos stumbled across what was happening and tried to get them to stop. They turned and started making fun of him. Carlos being his usually patient self tried to convince them to leave this is when things got bad. One of them punched Carlos in the gut causing Carlos to get angry for one of the first times in his life. Carlos beat the kids up and told them to go home before he does anything else. The kids of course obliged and ran home as fast as they can. This was the event that cemented his friendship with Colby.
When he was fifteen his mother divorced his father which cause a great upheaval in his lifestyle. He started to despise his mother for what she did but also started to mourn the fact that she would no longer be around. Carlos refused to open up his feelings to his family members and started to confide in Colby.
At the age of sixteen Colby moved away for a better education. This is around the time that Carlos started to start getting cold and sealing him self off from people. By this time most of Carlos brothers had moved away and the only one that had not was Robert who was actually really nice to Carlos so after a bit he started to share his feeling and having talks with Robert just for the fun of it. Carlos did not want Robert to move away. Carlos thought the fact that Robert was apart of a swat team he would not have to move he was wrong. Robert got married and started to think about his wife and how dangerous Mexico is and decided to move away but he did not want to tell Carlos. Carlos though found out and for one of the only times in his life he was ok with it or so they thought. In truth he was deeply hurt that his brother would not tell him but he knew his brother had thought about how not to hurt him so even though he was hurt he refused to admit it.
when Carlos entered college he fell in with the wrong crowed and though even through all this he did not drop out of collage sure his grades dropped but he still never dropped out even his so called friends admired this sort of. this is were he met his second real friend his name was Isaac chow and he was the strangest of the bunch the only one who refused to smoke to do drugs and drink excessively but something about him interest Carlos so they became friends. The sad thing is this gang like group that Carlos was apart of got into a lot of trouble Carlos ended up in jail because he took the fall for stealing a car that the whole group stole. He also was hooked on stealing or as he puts it borrowing things. there was one member of the group that Carlos hated he was just known as TJ and TJ knew this so daily he tried to egg Carlos on into a fight of course Carlos was patient but also manipulative. Carlos affected TJ by not fighting him but instead driving TJ mad by small things like people bringing up the subject every time TJ walked by of course Carlos was behind these things.
for a bit Carlos life started to look up tj was hauled of to jail and Isaac and his constant battering finally started to get to him he started drinking and doing drugs less and started looking to trying to get better grades in school and get away from his current life style. Well one day something happened to push him along in his plans. His friends were doing drugs and all that stuff when one of his friends decided to go out and see the town well. He tolled them that he was to tired to go with them but in fact he was actually studying for a test. The next day he learned that one of his friends had been shot in killed in a shoot out against some guy he owed money to.
Even though Carlos did not know the kid so well it helped to turn his life around he decided that he did not want anything else to do with the lifestyle he had been living. He returned to actually trying to do well in collage and get his degree. Also it turned out Isaac had never dropped out of collage and went to the same collage as Carlos. Isaac became one of Carlos best friends. Carlos started trying to finish getting a degree in archeology. Which he always thought would be an interesting job choice. he was able to look up were Colby was living and was surprised to find him living in the next town over. He started driving up to Colby's house and they became friends again. Carlos has lost most of his bad habits and claims he is reformed (though he still likes to steal which gets everyone angry.) he has been on numerous digs through out the world and has even found some things that sold for a lot. His friends have even accompanied him to some of these digs. It was also them who helped him dig up the snake statue. even though Carlos has turned his life around he still has some sad things in it he has lost contact with most of his family but for the most part this was on purpose and he still has a record in the police department so everyone can see he’s been in trouble with the law and he keeps getting his car sent to impound which he claims is a conspiracy against him. Carlos is a firm believer in god he accepted god into his life after he turned his life around.

how he gets there: simply this he for years has had a small statue in his room it was of a serpent biting a gem. It was the first thing he every dug up and would not give it away for the world. Well most likely he was cleaning out his room and accidentally knocked it over smashing the gem out of its mouth. So he brought it to a jeweler to try and get it fixed. So the jeweler just replaces the gem but unknowingly with the trigger.
