This is basically where Hermes and I will post our God plot queries, theories, and mearies. (The latter was made up, 3 rhyming words > 2.)
Feel free to post your ideas, we'll probably compile the ideas and quote some of you guys later on.BDP's Gods Characters, gods, and underlings: *** indicates self-created
Characters: Labtech X - First appearance: Halloween 2004 Brief Bio: Mysterious worker of G-Corp. Has been seen releasing Grunnies and using the G-virus on several NPCs, including Gino Gambino, where it was used to separate the father and son.
Deities: ***Aerarius Brief Bio: The Gaian god of items and currency. His powers are currently unknown, but it has been said that a shady being who controls the economy exists.
Underlings: Pork Wizard - First appearance: http://www.gaiaonline.com/newsroom/?type=weekly Brief Bio: The guardian of all sealed letters. Has unfathomable pork-related powers which may be able to convert any substance into pure meat. It is unknown if he is a cannibal, or an enemy left his mark, as his meat 'wand' has a bite taken out of it. I have left this all to Hermes so I can work on my plot, not to say I won't be helping though, I'll still give suggestions. cool

Divine Involvement in Plots Gone By
The Sniper and Johnny K.
Johnny K. Gambino always wanted his son to one day be the heir to his legacy, before his tower, before even Halloween 2K4. But he knew that his son was not capable of taking his place. Only the gods of old had the power to change that.
Johnny K. first sought help from Mactus, but after his refusal to interfere Gambino went to Corpora. She agreed to assist him on the condition that he use his power among mortals to create a religion that worshipped her as their god.
With help from Corpora, Gambino created G Corp. Corpora used G Corp to create the G Virus which had the power to make Gino worthy of the fortune he would inherit. Unfortunately, with the creation of the virus came the zombie outbreak and the destruction of G Corp. When Gino lost his memory, Gambino lost faith in Corpora.
When Johnny K. laughed in Corpora's face by turning the tower she helped build and maintain into his Skyscraper of Babel, Corpora sent her servant (the Sniper) to destroy Gambino and send him to her kingdom of the dishonored dead. Unfortunately for Corpora, she had underestimated the power she had created in the virus and it saved Gambino's life, saving him from her wrath. As Gambino's body fell, his spirit stayed with it. When Corpora did not receive his spirit in her kingdom, she smashed his tower to the ground, aiming for Durem just to cause more havoc among the pitiful unbelievers.

The Sniper and Ian (originally posted in the x lives thread)
In a bout of rage at her failure with Gambino, Corpora recruited Gravare to take revenge on Gaia through the well-known and loved Ian. They had planned the set up of Ian, and that's why the evidence was so damning.
Corpora and Gravare were expecting Ian to recieve the life sentence or death penalty. When Ian was released, Corpora was enraged and sent one of her servants to dispose of Ian and send him to her Kingdom. Ian's innocence of his crime and his love for Sasha kept his death honorable, a blind oversight on Corpora's part. Upon his death, Ian was brought to Mactus' kingdom of the honored dead. Mactus knew he did not belong there, and Ian was sent back to Gaia and survived his scrape with the Sniper.
The Sniper (Corpora's servant) recieved the power of flight, which explains the high angle the shot at Ian had. It's not possible for a Sniper to be high enough and close enough to the scene of the crime without being in the air. See Reference Pic #1.
As a reward for his perseverance and strength of soul, Diurnis gave Ian the Diamond Seashell.

The Zurg "Invasion"
Years back, before we inhabited this land, while the planet Gaia was still a raging volcano covered desert, the gods ruled. They lived at relative peace with one another, ruling everything that existed, all happy with the primal and unintelligent planets they had created. All happy except one. Caelum longed for more company than her six comrades and their seven counterparts. She decided one day to make a race of more or less intelligent beings and with them created the beginnings of a civilisation. Diurnis was enraged that Caelum had given life (part of his domain) to a lesser race than the gods. He forbade Caelum, then later any of the gods from leading these 'Zurg'.
Thousands of years later the Zurg were a prosperous civilisation that practically worshipped it's technology, being devoid of any real religion. When Diurnis saw the potential of the Zurg that he had wasted by forbidding the gods to get involved, he revealed himself to the Zurg. The Zurg were enraged that the gods had forsaken them, leaving them to deal with unnessecary hardship alone.
After this debacle, Diurnis joined together with his six comrade gods to create a new race of semi-intelligent beings that they would lead to prosperity. Just before the new 'Gaians' reached the prosperous age the Zurg had met the gods in, they left the old ways of the gods to strike out on their own. Just when the situation seemed it could not get more frustrating for the gods, the Zurg discovered Gaia to spread the word of the Gods' cruelty. They never guessed how the influence of the Gods Below* would affect them. The Gods Above thought it would be wrong to intervene yet again, but the Gods Below (specifically Edacitus and Excisio) thought it would be wonderful fun. The Zurg gradually and unwittingly turned against each other. Eventually Mother and the scientists who studied the gods realised it was the gods' doing and it did not affect the Gaians as much because they had evolved with the gods' influence surrounding them.
Fearing more corruption Mother chose to withdraw from Gaia, vowing to one day return and get the Zurg's revenge.

*The influence of the Gods Below was termed by Gaians and Zurg 'DARKNRGY'. The opposite of this would be 'LIGHTNRGY' or indirect influence of the Gods Above.

This thread, or the soon-to-be GCD one?
I don't think we need to reserve too many posts in this one, but the entire first page in the GCD thread should be reserved, each of us taking turns or something.
The first post would most likely be an intro and/or a backstory.
