ASSIGNMENT
As the years pass, the buildings Ice had shipped to Masquerade from Earth for the early colonists have slowly begun to fall apart. They were never meant to last a life time and this particular fact has become a prominent issue in the forefronts of the colonists’ worries. The stone used to create the palace and Rade dominated cities resides somewhere deep within the northern mountains, an area of Masquerade that’s never been explored before. The third group has been given the challenge of finding the stone and figuring out a way to bring it back to camp, where the colonists will be able to build some more permanent lodgings for the future residents of Masquerade.
The most difficult part of this task, aside from climbing the mountain, will be finding the stone. Mines are scattered all over the mountain side; some longer than others and most ending before they even begin. As a group, you can only hope that, by some stroke of luck, you’ll happen upon the right tunnel and be able to return to camp with more than just pebble-filled pockets.
This group has been given two tents, six sleeping bags, enough non-perishable food to last for a week and equipment to cook it with as well as some rock-climbing gear. It is up to the guardians to decide what else their charges are going to need and how, exactly, they are going to travel.
A hint: Just like the other expeditions, weapons for protection would be a very nice thing to have… Just in case. ;D *coughs* After all, you never know what might lurk in the giant shadows of the mountains.
