Basically, what has kind of dissapointed me is that there is a nice Azumanga Daioh! box set in my store that I could nab at about 45 bucks after employee discount. The thing is... it is a thin-pack collection. I go rats, and others say "Huh? Why would that matter?"
I'm of the mind that owning a collection pack like that is also to own something that really looks nice all together like that. People call me crazy but... yeah.
What are your thoughts on Anime Thin-pack Collections?

I can understand where you're coming from Glingar. I can appreciate a nice setup and artwork in a box set. But, at least for me, it's sadly functionality over beauty. I only have so much space to put DVDs in so I love the thin-packs. They usually aren't too horrible beauty-wise. But I haven't seen the Azumanga Daioh! set yet either.

I like beauty, but I'd rather have a thin-pack than nothing at all.

I have absolutely no standards of how a collection looks. I have 3 soft cover Harry potters, 1 European soft cover, and 3 Hard covers. I take what I can get for as cheep as I can and then I worry about where I'm going to put it. *glances at blatantly monopolized book case* I have separates, box sets of standard and thin, DVD books, and stuff that is very likely bootleg. I'm sure some day I'll have standards.
