OMG OMG OMG i just finished at 11:44 last night.
this book lead me in to a false sence of security. i thought it would be a light book. like the first 2 (and kinda 3) not so dark and evil. like the comic relef before the deadly 7th book. but of course that was not true. i thought it was more of the trio looking at want mafloy was doind then looking at what snape (in book one) was doing. i did love the hormones that came out. SEE BLUSHE??? RON AND HERMY FOR EVAR!!! (also love how the new potion master calld ron rupert at one point XD)
i have said for a while that i though doumbledor would die. but when sirius died i thought the reason that j.k. said that he did not really need to die was becasue it was between him and dumbledor. so i did not think she would kill off the both of them. looks like i was wrong.
i wish harry was not trying to be noble when he broke with ginny. i did like them. at least as J.K. wroght them. i think if they where to break up i would like it be mutial.
i have more to say but will have to wait till next post. please talk here.

There is an awful lot of animal personifaction in this book. The new minister looks like a lion, sluggie looks like a seal, voldies uncle reminds me of a snake.
Also, where did the nail-a-snake-to-your-door-if-you-speak-parseltongue thing first come in? When Dumbledore asks harry if he understands that guy he says yes, and then when asked why he looks to the door, sees the snake, and immediately understands. I was all, "Wtf, mate?"

[Hybrid Theory] Haha, same here. I wish Harry would've hooked up with Hermione, though. I mean... Ron and Hermione are so different.... Ron is... oblivious? dumb?... and Harry is just average.... At the beginning, I didn't know whether Snape was actually being truthful to the Death Eaters or trying to get info and stuff out of them. I can't wait for the next book. Hmm, did anyone figure out what the initials on the note that Harry found on the necklace stand for? Like who's they are? Or is it a new character?

I agree about both pairings. Harry and Hermione just make more sense to me, they seem better matched. Although, Harry had the same problem with Cho that Ron has with Hermione, he just expressed it differently. Cho was weird though, I will give him that. Usually I can see where the female characters are coming from or why they're doing something in relationships, but she just left me as confused as he was. Harry is more articulate and knows what he wants, Ron isn't yet. It's like, Lavender (yuck, by the way) is Ron's Cho. Without meaning this to sound as horrible as it will, Cho was Harry's warm up (maybe? how warm did he get exactly...) to Ginny, inexperienced to experienced. Lav-lav (again, yuck) is just practice for the real relationship.
Wow, how did I get on this tangent? sweatdrop
Anyways, Tonks and Remus is strange, but kinda nice too. They should be cute together.
Also, the rumor on the internet is that RAB is Regulus A. Black. Nobody is positive though.
