Need to re-do this coat and not sure which fabric to use this time around>

For the shirt and green belt, you are probably going to be using a cotton. Try to get some with a little bit of polyester so you can sew it.
pants- You can probably buy somewhere but you can get a heavy cotton in that.
The coat drape thingee- Same as shirt. Heavy cotton should work on that too.

Cotton doesnt have that feel that I want,I want to use something similar to cotton interlock,but alas its not meant to be.Guess I'd have to go with the Kona Cotton afterall.
For the pants,I used some scrub pants,and they're just awesome. mrgreen
I think this would fall in the category of the cheongsam,so its one piece.

i would use a lite fabric but not one that will break or split easily hmm silk would look nice

I always use poly-cotton blend fabric. It's WAY better than just cotton and it's still pretty cheap.

Light ultra suede would be lovely for the coat, it would give it nice drape and the deep rich look of that color.
