Ya'll know the rules xp  Shade strode pointedly forward through an open field; her ears were laced back against her skull to keep her new earrings from banging noisily against her horns. She was fairly irked form having those dang things in her ears not to mention a little hungry.
Tossing her head so that her crimped mane fell to one side of her neck and her three braids to the other side she continued to stalk forward letting her glowing two-toned eyes scan the valley for dinner.
The sun was beating down own her black coat which only worsened her mood, Shade stretched and flapped her translucent wings in an effort to cool herself. Damned weather, this is why I like fall and winter!" She snorted in disgust, luckily most flies and other pests didn’t deem it safe to come near her, maybe they figured she could breath fire or something but who cared they stayed away that was all that mattered.

It was unbearably hot. The skunk coloured mare had found her own little bit of paradise in a large shade tree. She laid down, her legs tucked close to her body, and took a look around. It seemed to just be one of those days.
After her meeting with Tiffany she decided that there could be no other creature alive that was as horrid as that haughty mare. Oh how wrong she was! She'd never come across a kalona but knew full well of their power and might. She never expected to meet one. With a contented sigh and mare laid her head down in the grass and closed her eyes lightly for a bit of a rest before she tried to find some lunch.

Shade let out a disgruntled growl at how horrid this day was turning out to be, she was hungry and hot not to mention quiet a way form her turf. She stopped dead in her tracks when a scent filled her nostrils, dinner!
A horrid smile spread across her muzzle and she strode forward with even more purpose now letting all four of her horns gleam like daggers in the sunlight. Tossing her long mane she let her eyes cast around her searching for the source of the scent.

The cornre of the mare's mouth tiwcthed up into a soft smile as she slept. The mare flopped onto her side in her sleep. She was having a very vivid, yet lovely dream. Little did she know that she'd soon awake to a living nightmare.

The kalona stood over the tiny mare and cocked a brow, what had those two –legers put in the water to make soquili so dang short! Shaking her mane she laughed in the end it didn’t matter, it just made this kill all the easier.
Shade let out a deep rumbling growl that echoed in her throat. Her ferocious grin could have made even the bravest of stallion’s blood run cold in their veins.

The mare's icy blue eyes snapped open, her limbs flailing as she tried to get to her feet. Once she did she backed away slowly, looking at the kalona with a kind of terror she had never felt before. She trembled terribly, her mouth agape slightly. Her heart felt as if it would break free and fly from her chest.
All she could do was move her mouth in a vain attempt at speaking. "K-K-K-Kalona!" Was all she could muster in a dry throated squeak. Her tone was distinctly English. The mare kept backing up slowly, not wanting to turn her back on the other female for fear of being ripped apart.

Shade stamped a hoof then cackled in delight tossing her mane back "I'm not going to eat you; I find soquili meat quiet disgusting." She knew she wasn’t ‘acting like a Kalona’ but hell she didn’t care they were simple minded fools. “That doesn’t mean another Kalona won’t though” she thought she should throw that in just in case the tiny mare thought all Kalona found the meat of other soquili disgusting.
“What ARE you anyway?” Shade raised a brow above her two-toned eyes and stared at Flower.

She sighed in relief, her head bowing slightly as her forelock fell in front of her eyes. Flower tossed her head so that she could see better. "I-I'm a Usdia." She said meekly, her brow still knitted slightly. "A-And yes, I-I know quite a-a-a lot of Kalona fancy h-h-h-horse meat." She added softly. She seemed to have found her voice, somewhat.
"H-How rude of m-me. I-I'm Flower. M-Might y-y-you grace me w-with your name?" She asked, merely trying to be polite and give the utmost respect to the larger mare.
