I'm having problems trying to get a hold of my own copy of anything by Stephanie Meyer, particularly the Twilight series.. I've pretty much harrassed the clerks at Target and Walmart to death over the issue, staked out a Hastings, accidently knocked over a display case at a Barns and Nobles in frustration, and even checked out local bookshops where I'm vacationing next month.
I really don't want to drive an hour to the nearest Waldens with gas at $3.50+ a gallon here and I can't use the internt (I don't wanna wait that long anyways..). The waiting list at the library happens to be up to 15 or so already too, for each copy.
Any other suggestions where I might find something? The girl at Target said to try back later, but if I do and they don't have anything I may just steal her kneecaps. And that would be bad. @_@

I went to Chapters for New Moon and got Twilight at a book fair.
Barns and Nobles should have a good stock of Stephenie Meyer's book. If you live near Coles & Chapters, I think they should have some too. .x

Yeah, there was an abundance of "Twilight" and "New Moon" at the Barnes and Nobles I go to. >__< Except I bought (or rather...my brother bought FOR me...x]) "New Moon" from Amazon.com.

I got Twilight from Waldens Books and there were plenty at a Borders I went to the other day. Although there was only one New Moon with the preview, and some people were pretty miffed that I was sitting there reading it... razz

I got mine in a bookstore before a flight. Not so sure that's helpful though...
It's starting to become a huge fandom, and the books are never in. You might just have to keep hunting nearby. Sometimes if you ask the clerks realll nice, they'll "find" copies for you. xD

Haha. There are like...no joke..20+ copies in each of our bookstores(Which is the most I've seen of any book at one time. They take 2/3 shelves. That's only New Moon. Twilight takes another 1/2)....and they sell out sooooo fast. They are always ordering new ones because they like the money it gets them. <3 Go Stephenie.
I actually got Twilight almost right after it first came out at.....I think Barns and Noble. I then got New Moon..ARC..on ebay. XD Theeeen~ I got an actual hard cover copy right after it really came out...from Borders. Just got the Special Edition at Borders a couple weeks ago.
Like Phantomette said; just ask nicely. They'll probably order one in for you. Or find one hiding in the back. ninja

Twilight and New Moon are both bestseller's...they should be easy enough to find.
Mind you, I don't have the same stores as Americans...

I got both Twilight and New Moon at Coles. And if they run out of stock you can always ask them to help you like uhh order it online and they can send it to the store where u can pick it up.
And I suggest you getting the New Moon Special Edition instead of the normal one? I'm not sure if its mroe expensive or anything but I would get it if I were you. xd

I got my UK Version of Twilight from Borders and I had to order New Moon from a book store. I also ordered the American Version cause I don't like the UK Version D:
I live in Australia and they just got American paperbacks of New Moon and Twilight, getting rid of the UK ones. This was like... yesturday XD I'm still trying to decide whether I should buy them or not (cause all mine are Hardcovers)...LOL I just want a shelf filled with Stephenie Meyer books x3
